Here's some insight into the tense situation at Denver that ended with the dismissal of the team's general manager (in name only, apparently). Mike Shanahan continues to skate.

This story asks if the Falcons have the worst group of quarterbacks in the NFL. I'd take it one step farther and ask, in all seriousness, do the Falcons have the worst set of quarterbacks in NFL history? These guys completely suck.

I agree I think that Shanahan has had a great run with the Broncos, the back to back superbowls was very impressive, but since Elway retired things have not been able to come together for the team. Sure for awhile you can call it a rebuilding period but this is getting rediculas and some of the decisions that have been made with players and positions have been really bad. Mike and others in the organization have released good players or brought in players that did not fit the team and in turn cost the team a lot of money and draft pics. At some point, as much as I respect Mike, the front office needs to cut him.
