I'm talking Big Ten basketball, of course! As suprising as Purdue was over the weekend (and the season in general), it's just an example of how life in the top half of the big ten is. Although Wisconsin is usually not prone to home losses in conference, it proves that there is parity regarding mental toughness of the top teams, for better or worse. Whether it's stepping up to win at the Kohl Center, or forgetting to show up for a game in State College (refer to my picture if you need further explanation of that comment!), the bottom line is that consistency for a big ten team is hard to come by.

All we can do (we meaning big ten alums and fans) is hope that "our conference" can stand up to ACC, SEC and other elite conferences come march!

That's why I'm so surprised that MSU hasn't taken care of their business at home but performed so well on the road. Usually those road games are the obstacle. It should be some interesting ball down the final stretch. This year, as cliche as it sounds, any team (sans Indiana) can beat any team.
