Ladies and Gentlemen, the "Volunteer Basketball" blog has reach a new personal best- Two straight days on Eric Kay's "Raw Sewage ... I love it!" blog. Can we make it three? :)

Today's random question is- What is the craziest thing you've done at a sporting event?

For me (its not a great one), me and several of my buddies went last week to the UK vs. UT basketball game in Rupp Arena. Before hand, we had shirts printed up that said, "Why does the wind blow north in Tennessee? Because Kentucky sucks and Alabama blows." That didn't go over very well, as you can image, especially since the Vols lost.

LOL... i love messing with scalpers... Next time, ask one of them if you can see their license to sell on university property. They'll freak out, trust me... :)

Craziest thing @ sporting event

I was at the College World Series and our group went out to have a few beers between games.  If you haven't been I would highly recommend it.  Anyhow, there are vendors all around the stadium and plenty of places to have a few drinks.  So we made the huge mistake of staying outside the stadium for too long because the next game was LSU vs. Texas.  Huge draw and huge fan following.  Well the stadium filled up very quickly and we were stuck standing a line that wrapped around the stadium to get in the bleacher GA seats.

We never did get in the stadium for that game, but while we stood in line for an hour or so I had plenty of fun.  I was pretty lit up and decided to hold up 2 fingers to see what would happen.  Obviously, a lot of people were doing the same thing either looking to buy or sell tickets, but not I.  Everytime someone would ask if I had 2 tickets to sell or wanted to buy 2 tickets I would say that I really didn't want tickets I just wanted to spread Peace.  This was only funny to me of course.  The group that I was with began to act as if I had leprosy, and eventually I began to fear that someone might try to kick my ass so I stopped.  It was a great 45 minutes or so.

After Manning lost the Heisman and then Fowler trashed UT on ESPN, I wore an ESPN SUCKS shirt to the UT-Auburn game that was on ESPN (the one where Barkley was here with Gameday). . .I had good seats in the student section and was trying to get on camera. . .not crazy, but it got a lot of laughs from drunk students. . .

Wearing MUCK FIZZOU shirts at a Kansas game at Mizzou did not go over very well either.
