Public Apology...

Posted on: February 8, 2008 9:19 pm
I would like to apologize for any of my icy posts as of recent. I have been going a bit of a rampage... My iciness has developed over the past 3 weeks from being a Giants fan living in Boston. First I had to listen to Pats fans already awarding themselves the Lombardi trophy and making jokes about how many points they were going to beat us by etc... along with the plans for their victory parade before they even played the SB. Now I have had to listen to some Pats fans whinning about how they are still better.. how they should have won... how it was rigged and other conspiracy theories. I am just fed up... so I apologize but this is what happens from day in and day out of being in hostile territory...

So I apologize for some of my scathing comments as of recent.

Public Apology...

I'm sorry for the remark(whenever it was) that ur G-Men weren't good enough. I did however, took the Giants over the Patsies in the SB by 3, no kidding whatsoever.

Public Apology...

i never saw the post actually.. but whatever u said im sure it wast just right.  there are alot of angry ppl out there..

im happy for you and the G-men.. congrat-u-frick-in-lations!

i would of liked to have seen the historic part of the Pats winning.. but just the same it was historical to see them lose.

bottom line you have to keep playing the whole season, you cant count chickens b4 they are hatched, put cart b4 the horse, etc etc...

and they got what they deserved.. arrogance=losing and determination=winning.. im sure they will both be better teams next yr and winners or losers they both have alot of lessons to be learned.. the superbowl outcome is just the tip of the iceburg.

i havnt been around in like forever but from what i can rememebr i always enjoyed all of ur posts =) take care ttyl

Congrat to the Giants!  They simply outplayed the Patriots.  As a Pats fan I had a very bad feeling leading up to the game with all the premature babbling abour being 19-0.  They also were outcoached.  Anyway it's nice to see you're a Mets fan and not a Yankee  It should be a good year for the Mets!  Hope all is well in your world.

I also understand as a Dallas Cowboy fan in Buffalo!  You should have been around for the first two Superbowls the Bills and Cowboys played in.  But I am just a fan.  I have nothing to do whether they win or loose.  I don't play for them, I don't coach them and I don't draft or trade players.  All I do is cheer and hope they win every game.  I am good a holding back on dirty sports fans who like to talk smack, rub things in and make fun of other teams.  My teams do the talking.  Either they win or they loose and that is bottom line.

Don worry about it NYG Babe, we understand, as do i. I asked you one time how it felt to have to put up with Bostonians as a New York are taking it better than most others ever can.  I know they'd probably hate me and i wouldn't care one bit LOL.  It's ok.

Eh, I say let it rip, I know I sure do.

Besides, it couldn't have been as bad as what Illinois fans were saying to my boy, Eric Gordon.

Public Apology...

Come on guys...that's no way to treat a lady.  You don't just ask for the bikini shot...  Try getting to know her - if she likes you who knows...maybe she'll send you that photo from last summer's weekend at the Cape.  Meanwhile, there are plenty of sites out there to satisfiy that bikini jones...

...and as for you young lady, I imagine it is very difficult being a New York fan in Boston and there is no doubt that Boston sports fans have become just a bit overconfident lately (hmmm, remind you of Yankee fans?)...but it's easy to understand how it happened...and if you live there, don't you feel some obligation to support the local teams?

I understand being loyal to your teams, but it's very difficult for me to accept the number of New York transplants living in Miami who take full advantage of all Miami has to offer, however only show up to sporting events when the Mets, Yanks, Jets, Giants, Rangers, Islanders or Knicks are in town...and then root against the home team.  In my opinion, they are very hypocritical by living in South Florida but supporting only New York teams.  Please understand how frustrating that can be for those of us who live here and support our local teams.

Anyway, congrats on the SB victory...if ever a team beat the odds and fully deserves the trophy, it's the Giants...

A bikini pic of you will do just fine and all will be forgiven.

I second that notion.
