Lakers Kings of the Regular Season

Congratulations, LA. You do great in the regular season.

And you still haven't beaten the Celtics when it counts.

That win over Boston this past weekend means nothing. Absolutely, nothing.

Ko-Me Bryant still hasn't won a title without Shaquille O'Neal and the Lakers still haven't avenged that massive choke job to Boston in the championship last year. Regular season doesn't count.

So nice victory for the Lakers. You sure did celebrate like you won the title.

But you haven't. Yet.

Lakers Kings of the Regular Season

I thought the Lakers would have won last year,if Bynum wasn't hurt. LA has to deal with the west. Boston has to deal with KING JAMES (the Cavs) and the Magic, plus the other team/s that took them to 7 games. I still see a trade in the near future for LA, Odom for someone. If I had to bet, it would be LA. I grew up a Lakers fan, and hey, I'm in Cali  now!

Lakers Kings of the Regular Season

I can't stand Kobe and I can't stand the Lakers. Good win for them last night but still a long way to go to be celebrating like they did.

Have you ever played ANYTHING Freeman?

Do me a favor, go to your local gym, get beat down in a 1-on-1 game in a best of 7 series against a guy everyone knows should beat you. Then come back 6 months later and beat him when he's really trying to win. Then go home and read your third line again. It's still a win....against the champs. A win always means something. You total up enough wins, and you're in the playoffs. Enough wins in the playoffs, and your champs. A win against the champs who tossed you around like a rag doll to finish off last season, let's you know you're right there. The reason why? If you saw that game you know the C's wanted it just as bad. They weren't taking it easy. If you've ever played sports before Freeman, then you know a win ALWAYS means something. Bad line for a true sports writer.

Lakers Kings of the Regular Season

Regular season doesn't count.

There's no pro sports league to which that comment is more true than the NBA.

With that said, the title is the Celtics to lose again.  And they won't again.
