Which is reason 2,345 why we need a playoff system.

That team might be able to hang with the best. They destroyed Alabama. The game was never really close.

Imagine a Final Four of Utah-USC, Florida-Oklahoma.

The ratings would approach Super Bowl numbers.

Time for Congress to intervene and clean up this mess that is college football.

You're right. The 8 team playoff is the way to go.Drop all names in a hat and draw.Put winners in a hat and draw again. No Bias and no press crap allowed. Then last team standing wins!!!

Can We Now Have A Playoff System !!!

OK it's time for a playoff system, and don't give me they already play enough games and it takes away from there studies, that is crap. Look at basketball they play up to two to three games a week and over thirty games a year.

So instead of take months off before the bowl season starts, take two weeksoff let the student athlete have the exam week off and the week after start a top ten playoff i've keep hearing 8 but it has to be 10 teams. and every saturday have a round of playoff games with the number 1 and 2 teams having a bye week, then in second round you'll have your top six teams. Do it just like the nfl it has to be done, or we will continue to have douts about who really is the Champ, and with as much money us fans put into this game I think we desevre that, and college football deseveres that.

What is the computer going to do with Utah, come on yes they quote come from a mid-major confence but what I see is a divsion 1 school competing with other divsion 1 school and they won, so stop with this confence is'nt good enough to play because if thats the case then take the divsion 1 tag off them and that's not going to happen so just let them play and let them have a shot! Cause I don't think Alabama is thinking that now just ask there QB cause i'm sure he was lying on his back most of the game.

Utah Might Be Best In Country

Remember when BYU went UNDEFEATED and WHIPPED michigan for NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Did not matter some fool mentioned SOS(which should be banned) BYU went out and proved they were #1 by thrashing MICHIGAN from the LOWLY big10(funny) (did you all know the acc has the best win% of all the conferences in bowl games played/won?) wow. anyway back to UTAH

THEY HAVE PROVEN MANY THINGS
BCS IS WRONG
HAVE BEST RECORD
WILL SEE IF THE COACHES WHO VOTE ARE LIKE VOTERS IN THE ELECTION ONLY VOTE DEM OR REP IF THAT IS THE CASE then the only VOTE  UTAH SHOULD GET FOR #1 is from THEIR COACH(RIGHT) I AM REALLY ANXIOUS TO SEE IF THE COACHES STEP UP AND ALL   VOTE   UTAH   #1  as they SHOULD

think it will happen  nope    they are all idiots   (NOT 1 voted Utah #1 in any week) why be different .  CONTINUE TO BE BIAS AND DO NOT VOTE FOR UTAH   Ok

MY vote is always the team/teams with best record

I do not believe the big10 nor the southeast nor the big12 is any better than any other conference in their DIVISION   let's all stop the discrimination and bias of the OTHER conferences in the same division(EQUALLITY)

so to be FAIR     &
nbsp;  undefeated team or teams is/are #1 and teams with 1 LOSS is #2 (TIED)  teams with 2 losses and more (WHO CARES)

VOTE UTAH     VOTE  UTAH    SCREW THE BCS BY VOTING   UTAH AND SEE WHAT THE COMPUTERS THEN SAY  VOTE UTAH  COACHES OF AMERICA ::::VOTE  UTAH

p.s: just my humble opinion but USC is #2

Texas lost to Texas Tech.  That is a far worse loss than losing to Ole Miss.  I think it became quite obvious yesterday.

Utah Might Be Best In Country

Utah is the best team in the country. Yes I am a Ute fan, season ticket holder, and long time Ute supporter. It is time for respect from the "big boys". It was so frustrating to watch Jimmy Johnson and Barry dumb a&^ talk about what they did not know. Same goes for past weeks with Lou Holtz was giving no respect. In reading another blog on a local Utah site tonight they had posted a picture of the NCAA approved shirt for the Sugar Bowl. Guess what is said? Above each teams helmet was the name of the conference, Utah was listed under the WAC! Give me a break NCAA and BCS. Even Nick Sabin started making excusses for missing players as one reason for the loss. I think the term you are missing Nick is "TEAM". Together our team kicked your butt! Remember Utah, Remember this win, Remember the BCS must go, Remember 2008 National Champs......UTAH......

Let me beg the question why would you leave Texas out of the mix if you want a playoff... they certainly deserve to be in the NC game more than Florida based on who lost to whom, where they lost, and the ranking of the team they lost to. Secondly, I believe that a team that is undefeated is better than any one loss team until that team is beat. Utah was not beaten this year and dominated a team that was considered for at least 5 weeks to be the #1 in the nation.

Utah Might Be Best In Country

Utah should be the undisputed national champion...case freaking closed. Who is the best team Oklahoma has beaten? TCU. Who is the best team Florida has beaten? Alabama. Who beat USC? Oregon State. Now, who beat TCU, Alabama and Oregon State and DID NOT LOSE A GAME? UTAH! I am not a Utah fan...been to the state one time in my life, but for the Utes not to be the national champion is an absolute joke!

Seriously, they also beat BYU, who has been in the top 10 this year and the top 20 all season long. The Mountain West was better than the Big 10 and Big East. Fact is, Utah played a comparable schedule to any BCS team and beat everyone that came in their way, not to mention winning in the the big house (albeit a down Michigan team, it's still the big house) and DOMINATING the team that spent the most time atop the rankings.

So let me get this straight, Florida is number five, with one loss and beats Alabama, so they should ascend to number one, yet Utah, undefeated, with more "quality" wins than Florida goes out and beats Bama worse than Florida did, but can't get the same respect. There's a word for this, it's called Antitrust! Utah is the true national champion, the BCS can give their little glass ball to OU or Florida, but the bottom line is that neither one of them deserve the true championship more than Utah. Does that mean Utah is definitely better than OU or Florida...no, we don't know that, but given the system we have, Utah should be the champion.
