No Anquan Boldin

He's not playing and the Cardinals are in trouble without him.

He's inactive.

Good luck Arizona. You'll need it without Boldin.

billrogers: the footage you saw at 7:30 was tape delayed. It had been shot earlier.

And remember: stay off drugs.

How can you know he's out at 6:48 PM when at nearly 7:30 he was out on the field warming up his legs and testing themto see if he could 'go' tonight?

So they can double up on Fitz and let Breaston rack it up or they can cover them both and have Fitz go nuts in single coverage.  Don't see how this changes much.  Larry is AWESOME when Boldin doesn't play.  Kurt is gonna get his.  DeAngelo is gonna get his.  Edge is the XFactor in this game.  He does what he is capable of and you all will be surprised.

Spelling Bee:

I agree with you that Steve Breaston can step up like he has done before; I like the kid but the Cardinals are not playing Buffalo or Dallas, they are playing a studly Carolina team on the east Coast. This first overall defense? You must be looking at the playoff defense rankings....OK, they held Michael Turner in check (difficult task indeed) but they hardly have a #1 defense. Infact, Arizona has the worst defense of all the remaining playoff teams with the exception of San Diego

In Winter weather this is going to be more of a run game battle. Can Hightower and James out-produce Williams and Stewart? That will be tonight's million dollar question. Kurt Warner will have a rather difficult time playing on the East coast, and without Boldin makes his work that much harder.

In the event that the ball goes to the air, you can be sure that it will land in the hands of Steve Smith. Jake and Steve will hook up more times today than Warner hits Cardinal targets.

You are correct Freeman, however if Steve Breaston can step up like he did after Boldin's facial surgery made possible via Eric Smith, the Arizona Cardinals have an outside chance... they can stop the Panthers becaue they do have the first overall defense, second against the pass, third against the run... the latter being very important with DeAngello Williams always ready to rip off four TD's.

Still, they play poorly on the East coast, though the late start time may help them, out a bit. Think about it, teams on the West coast have a harder time going from West to East than those going East to West. I live on the East coast. Say I am used to playing games EST around 1-4 EST... well going West and doind so is akin to playing anight game, no big deal. However the West coasters have to play most of their games as of they just woke up and let me tell you... football is not a church-service time kind of game.

They were in trouble with or without him. At least this way he doesn't hurt himself more.
GO PANTHERS!
