Of Course Kurt Warner is a Hall of Famer

Posted on: January 18, 2009 12:15 pm

GLENDALE, Az.. -- No matter what happens in the NFC title game on Sunday, he's already Hall of Fame caliber.

Warner's played in Super Bowls, winning one. He's put up astronomical numbers and has longevity to boot.

I'd put him in this minute.

If he gets to another Super Bowl that only adds to his legacy.

He's also been an outstanding citizen which doesn't hurt.

Your Glog about Michael Redd ...

was completely inappropriate and a misuse of your status. While I play fantasy NBA too, I would never wish anyone serious injury, Have you ever heard of Kharma? Well you need to repair yours before its too ...

He's got better numbers than a LOT of HoF QBs already.  If he keeps up that pace he should get in but without a ring may not.

Yesterday was an epic failure.  That is the kind of playoff / Superbowl performance we are used to seeing out of McNabb.  I don't know if it's choking under pressure or what, but it's normal for the Eagles in the McNabb years.  Or maybe it's an Andy Reid issue in not preparing his team for big games.

I'd like to see McNabb with another team and if he can lead another team to the playoffs that would help his case too, especially if it's a losing team like Detroit.  If he stays with the Eagles and does nothing else he may be on the outside looking in despite his huge numbers.

Of Course Kurt Warner is a Hall of Famer

Warner will get in --because of the his accomplishments of winning big games with teams that are not used to winning!!!

I did't research it but is there a  League MVP who hasn't gotten in???

There are many Superbowl MVP's that will never get in but Warner having:  1--Won a Super bowl

Depending on who is in his class ,  he may have to wait a year of two to get in....  Not a lock  first ballet H.O.F.

JEagle87: If McNabb wins a ring, he's a lock.

If he gets to another Super Bowl but doesn't win, he's still got a good shot.

If he doesn't get to another Super Bowl, it's shaky.

I agree, Warner is Hall of Fame bound.

The real question is: Does Donovan McNabb need a ring to get there? Or does he have a solid case now with a few more years left in the tank? Jim Kelly and Dan Marino among others never won a ring but had tremendous impact on the game. So has McNabb. A title would only clinch it in my book.
