Jose Canseco was Right Once Again

He's a turd of a human being and a rat and an alleged woman beater but when it came to steroids Jose Canseco was dead on.

Almost everyone he's named as a steroid cheat in his books has proven to be, well, a steroid cheat.

If the report about Alex Rodriguez is correct, Rodriguez would be the latest player named by Canseco as an alleged steroid user who was.

Remember, Canseco claimed that he introduced Rodriguez to what Canseco said was a known steroid user.

Canseco is a despicable person who deserves to have his ass kicked.

But he sure did nail this steroid mess.

Meanwhile, the home run kings are falling so quickly legends like Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron look better every day.

Jose Canseco was Right Once Again

I still don't know why baseball is so protective and secretive of all this.  Let it all out once and for all and it would be less of an issue later on.  Honesty is always the best policy.  In some strange way I admire Canseco and Giambi for their honesty, genuine or not.

Jose Canseco was Right Once Again

Canseco was and is a jerk., but he is consistently being proven right concerning steroids. I remember when he first went public with all his allegations. The media jumped all over him for being a liar. Every talk show on TV and radio said he was only trying to get back in the news, there wasn't any truth to his outlandish statements. Remember media? I want to hear a public apology from the media to Canseco for calling him a liar years ago. I want the media to admit their incompetance, ineptitude and compliance in not being the eyes for the public and breaking this story sooner. Shame on you for not admitting Canseco was correct and you slept at the switch.

Hasn't anyone learned anything from Andy Petite?

The American sports public already proved it has a short memory time and time again.  Be a rapist, wife beating, alcoholic, dope addicted, tax cheat and it's cool, the one thing that we don't like is liars.

It seems you could do what ever you want and be a good athlete and people love u, there are always detractors but time and time again studs get extra chances.  Best thing A-Rod can do is say, yup I wanted to add some muscle one year and decided to take steroids.

Don't get me wrong, he still gets the microscope treatment forever questioning his stats, but for me - Barry Bonds included - I have to think that steroids don"t make stud baseball players.  But like Barry Bonds, being a a$$hole before this became public means A-Rod gets destroyed by public and media alike in this one.

Jose Canseco was Right Once Again

If its true, this guys career is over in NY...Just look at what NY did to Giambi.......There are very few  Derek Jeters in this game today, who do it by the book, day in and out. Hats off and MUCH respect to them.  I think Jose isnt lying, he had nothing to lose by stating this.  The guy was a twig when he came into the league and I have seen him up close and it made me think "this guy is huge"...A-ROID, haha, classic!!! SO SAD...

All the story says is that A-Rod along with over 100 other players tested positive for steroids in 2003 and that four sources have independently confirmed those results. It doesn't say he's an abuser or has used it for a long period of time so his overall stats may not factor into this discussion.

Also, if you read the article, you'd remember that it clearly states that the type of steroid that A-Rod is alleged to have used creates strength and lean muscle development but does not cause them to bulk up. So his size doesn't matter.

There are plenty of facts and evidence stated in the article. All that's left to decide if you believe them or not. This isn't a criminal trial, so unless A-Rod is going to face any legal charges (unlikely), then it's a matter of a media story and public perception, so don't hold your breath if you're expecting more than this report to come out of this before thinking he's guilty.

and most of all he has remained the same sized player as he was when he came into the league with Seattle. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you serious?  He's probably gained 75 pounds - all muscle of course.  Including face and head muscle.  Some of that can be attributed to the fact that he was 19 when he made his debut, but not all of it.  The rest would be steroids.

What will exhonorate A-Roid is not that he didn't do steroids, but that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE else did.  Including people already in the Hall of Fame.  (Ricky Henderson, best body and largest thighs in the game at the age of 45, with a workout regemine consisting only of situps and pushups)
