Lakers: Kings of the Regular Season

Great win, Los Angeles.

Congratulations.

You win a lot of big regular season games, Los Angeles. But while you may fool some of the ex-player suck ups at ESPN, you're not fooling me again.

We've seen this movie before.

The Lakers and Ko-Me Bryant will impress in the regular season, maybe even get to the Finals. That's what they do.

Then the postseason will arrive and they'll get bullied and punk'd by one of the tough teams from the East.

Just like last year.

If the Lakers play Boston in the Finals, they'll get smoked.

Just like last year.

Los Angeles still doesn't possess the inside toughness to beat one of the great teams from the East when it really counts.

So congratulations, Los Angeles.

You've earned a title.

Best team in the regular season.

Why do we even respond to ignorance like this. Freeman is a professional sports writer? Come on. Get real. You have no clue Freeman. Why CBS wastes their money on you is truly beyond all belief. Next article, why don't you try to be truly "Professional" and unbiased, and maybe the article won't be so crazy. Ok, I've wasted enough time on your idiotic rant.

Mike Freeman: Lowering the Bar for Black Writers

Thanks to his biased, sub-chat room-level writing (What, no emoticons?), Hack Freeman continues to make it increasingly difficult for real black writers to be taken seriously. As if we needed another hurdle. Thanks a lot, douche.

Lakers: Kings of the Regular Season

I'm done reading this guy's garbage. I never post stuff here usually, but I can't believe this guy gets paid to write this crap and just felt the need to show that there is one less person reading your articles. Hopefully your boss takes notice.

Lakers: Kings of the Regular Season

I think Mr. Freeman has lost all credibility with this article.  He is obviously a Laker hater and no doubt lost some big money on these two games against the Eastern "powers", and he's pissed off about it.  He can henceforth be ignored.

Lakers: Kings of the Regular Season

How is his information substantial. All he did was say they beat the tough teams in the regular season last year. Because Freeman is writing this article to piss Lakers fans off... he's not really telling anyone anything substantial. Correct me if I'm wrong. The Lakers didn't beat The Celtics at all last year in the regular season...and nor did they beat the Cavaliers last year in the regular season. The LAkers didnt have the best record in the regular season last year so how were they the kings of the regular season. The Celtics were. What the LAkers just did is send a message. The LAkers came in without Bynum and just trashed the East up. Now maybe it's true that the LAkers don't have enough toughness inside yet.. but let me tell you something...the LAkers just sent a message to the East that there aren't going to be anymore 26 point blow-outs, or come-from-behind victories. And don't think for one second that San Antonio isn't stitting in the closet right now, getting healthier, asking "what about us?" The West is pissed..and the it's the East that is going to have to raise it's game and add some depth if it's going to retain back the title. Gasol and Odom are obviously stronger and more confident now that they know exactly what to expect from teams like The Celtics in the playoffs. What everyone accept LAker fans is really fearing are that they will once again have to acknowledge The Lakers as a real champion again someday ( A Shaq-less Laker team lead by "Ko-Me: ), and they are finding every reason in the book to discredit what the Lakers are doing so they dont have to cope with the possible reality that the Lakers might just be good enough to win it all now. It all stems from the hatred of Kobe. And I hope someone is sending Freeman's articles straight to the LAker lockers. As if they don't already lookd etermined and motivated enough.

Lakers: Kings of the Regular Season

Why is his column so bad?  He speaks some truth.  First off, Bynum does not make the Lakers better.  If you think so, you have been drinking!  The loss of Delonte West is more hurtful to the Cavs than Bynum to the Lakers.  For 2 reasons: (1) Gasol does not play well with Bynum and when he is out, Gasol has the lane to himself for his spin moves.  (2) Odom gets more playing time, but that is only a minor reason b/c we all know which Lamar Odom will show up for the postseason.  And as good as Kobe is, he still won't win a ring w/out a shaq type player.  Face the facts.  I normally don't agree with this guys' column (his post Fiesta Bowl article was one of the worst I had ever seen this year) but he speaks some truth here.  Boston and the Cavs series winner will be your champ unless the Spurs beat the Lakers then all bets are off because it is an odd numbered year - we know how well the Cavs played against them 2 years ago!

Lakes will not have homecourt.   ..........and if they do.........they will be worn out trying to get it and have nothing left in the tank.   Look how hard they are trying to prove something.  They want to be like the Cavs, Celts or Magic.......LOL!!!
