LeBron James: poor sport

ORLANDO -- LeBron James, who has crafted an image as a good guy, wasn't such a stand up person -- or a good guy -- after Cleveland was beaten by Orlando.

James blew off the media, bolted out of the locker room, and headed directly for the team bus without speaking to the media.

After the game, I didn't see him congratulate many Magic players. I may have missed it but other reporters said they saw the same thing which was witness James behave like a spoiled baby.

It's understandable he's frustrated. But this isn't how leaders should act. James' teammates faced the media. Why shouldn't James? Is he too good to do so?

It was extremely immature and jerkish behavior.

That's how'd you expect some low level punk to behave, James.

He left quickly because he didn't want to talk to Freeman.  I can't blame him, who would?  This guy must live a lonely, lonely life.

You Cavs fans are relentless in you're imbecility. Now you're attacking a columnist for doing his job. Like LeBron, you have no class. Go to bed retards.

You want to know how he feels? He's pissed off and disappointed and doesn't want to answer questions from some pinhead reporters.
HAHA wow, Then i must say he is in the wrong sport...NBA players are worst then T.O when if comes to looking for cameras and reporters.

That said, It was immature, BUT i can see why he did what he did.

Don't really care about speaking to the media, but I think he can at least congratulate the other team and not run into the locker room as soon as the game is over. He needs to show some sportsmanship if he is going to be the face of the league. Do you not think Carmelo was upset when the nuggets lost to the lakers? of course he was, but he, along with the other nuggets, stayed on the court and shook the other team's hands. Lebron was the only Cavs player I saw bolt straight to the locker room. At least be a decent loser.

Immature?  YES...  He is however a young star.  I do not expect this to be a trend of his.  He will grow and mature to that stand up person we all have seen.  This was an emotional ride and he wanted nothing more than to get to the "Big Show".  LeBron James will have many more games, playoffs, etc etc.

Extremely jerkesh behavior is the media making a big deal of his emotions.

Dwight Howard whines and cries after every call, but Lebron is upset and didn't talk to the media and that makes him a jerk?  His team lost.  He goes to the bus without being interviewed.  That does not make him a "low level punk."

Seriously? You can't understand how someone who has invested that much of themselves might get a bit emotional? He should have stuck around to answer dumb questions like "how do you feel"? Good for him blowing out of there. You want to know how he feels? He's pissed off and disappointed and doesn't want to answer questions from some pinhead reporters.

If only you had a fraction of that passion for your trade, we wouldn't have to read this pathetic attempt at creating controversy.
