Limbaugh: good riddance

Hardcore race baiter and alleged pill popper Rush Limbaugh was kicked out by his own potential ownership group's bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams proving there is a (football) God.

Limbaugh was drop kicked by the head of the group, the respected Dave Checketts.

Rush has been Rushed.

This is a great day for those of us who see sports as a unifying force and not a dividing one.

Oh, go ahead, Limbaugh lickers, post your comments about how people have made up quotes or taken them out of context or call everyone a racist. Fire away, you brave anonymous message board flamers. That's what you do.

(This is said without malice and is my opinion: I believe almost any quote attributed to Limbaugh when it comes to race because he's said any number of ugly and hateful things. Just my opinion and belief.)

Limbaugh represents everything that's wrong with how people relate to one another today.

Now Limbaugh will manipulate the situation -- and manipulate his followers -- into believing that his lack of acceptance by the NFL is a conspiracy by the liberal media, feminists, blacks, ACORN, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, global warming believers, Oprah and Mexicans against him.

It's not about Limbaugh's politics, it's about Limbaugh himself. He's a bad person. That's it. End of story.

There are (and have been) current NFL owners who are horrible people but that doesn't mean the league has to let more in, especially more like Limbaugh.

Limbaugh's also a coward who sends his robotic fans to various media and message boards to do his dirty work for him.

You can't have it both ways, Rush-bo. You can't say numerous hateful things then try to back away from them or claim one or two things attributed to you aren't accurate. You don't get the benefit of the doubt on race.

So good riddance.

Hopefully the sports world will never hear from you again.

Rush Nails It

From today's Wall Street Journal (10/17/09):

"There is a contempt in the news business, including the sportswriter community, for conservatives that reflects the blind hatred espoused by Messrs. Sharpton and Jackson. "Racism" is too often their sledgehammer. And it is being used to try to keep citizens who don't share the left's agenda from participating in the full array of opportunities this nation otherwise affords each of us. It was on display many years ago in an effort to smear Clarence Thomas with racist stereotypes and keep him off the Supreme Court . More recently, it was employed against patriotic citizens who attended town-hall meetings and tea-party protests.

These intimidation tactics are working and spreading, and they are a cancer on our society"

Limbaugh: good riddance

It's funny...people insist on believing that only Black people are on welfare.

Fact: Most welfare recipients are non-black, adult and on welfare less than two years at a time.

The last census showed that blacks comprise only 13.5% (41 million) of the national population, while comprising 37% of the welfare rolls. This should not be surprising: in 1994, blacks had a poverty rate of 33%. We should not, of course, think it unusual to find poor people on welfare.

The most prevalent question is why there are so many blacks in poverty. Liberals argue that it is the result of continuing racism and discrimination, especially at hiring time. Conservatives have argued a variety of other causes: moral shortcomings, poor work ethic, even intellectual inferiority.

Limbaugh: good riddance

A small sample of what passes for debate:
Freeman is who the "N" word was created for. Weird I was thinking the same about your brotha in office. You're a racist douche just like your brothers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson Thanks for proving yourself to be the ni**er everyone already knew you were.
Are you a black sheep? But hey, dem's yer homies...right, Dawg? MAke a real point please homely. I heard that Limbaugh even attended a racist church for 20 years.  No, wait...that was Unqualified Barry! Watch your mouth!!!   All this reverse-racism is starting to piss me off!  You better be careful, and I better not find a Koran in your house!! Now go back to destroying your neighborhoods before planning a move to a state with an actual economy before your votes turn it into a socialist hellhole like the rat nest you went running from. You're just offended every angry white guy who was afraid of the PC police telling them "No you CAN'T."  Your heyday is over.  Its going to get ugly. You and your type, are the people who are putting society back 50 years! The way it is now the NFL is predominantly black and overrun with DWI's, murders, club shootings and dog fighting. a black man calling a white man a pill popper yadda, yadda... I, (of course me being just another Joe Plumber why would you listen?) think it is high time us white people not pay another dime to watch overpaid useless animals play sports. And while we are at it, why don't we just skip town and let you run this country into another African 3rd world country. Give away the wealth of the country to people who can't earn a living and don't want to work for it but just sit and complain about how racial it all is. Just find someone to blame for your ills and never once think to work and pull yourself from the pit of agony and frustration. Gee. I wonder why Rush Limbaugh and his supporters have problems with accusations of racism?

Limbaugh: good riddance

As a "journalist" Freemen certainly should be sure of any quote he uses in his articles.  Just like these professors who ge5t into trouble for plagerizing sections of an article, he is responsible for that which he writes. Again, this isn't a news article, it's called a "freestyle" for a reason. It's a blog entry.

The problem isn't that Freemen said, "I hate Rush and it's because I think he is racist."  What Freemen said was, "Rush is racist and he said these things:a bunch of mis quotes"  and then further dug himself into a hole by claiming in his next blog that well, even if those quotes are false, I believe he said something very much like them."  That isn't his opinion. First, Freeman admits that some of the quotes are false. All of them are not. Rush does have a documented history of making racist statements, that's a fact.
Second, Freeman also says "I BELIEVE he said something very much like them ". Keyword: believe. That's the very basis of an opinion. By admitting his belief may be based on falsehood, a reasonable person can deduce that Freeman isn't communicating his statement as fact.

Did you read this blog?  He also has to prove injury, which he should be able to prove now that he was removed from the bid. Yes, I read the blog, but you show me the injury. Rush was dropped from a group attempting to bid on the Rams. They haven't even won the bid, and Rush would only have been a minority owner. And who exactly does Rush sue?

Quick scenario: if you're hiring for a position, and a prospective employee (awaiting his interview with you while in the lobby) starts mouthing off that he hates Jews, or midgets, or Irishmen, would that affect his chances of getting hired? How about if your business is helping displaced Irish midgets convert to Judaism, lol. Uh, yeah that guy wouldn't be a good fit for your company.

That might be true, I don't know enough about libel law, but I'd bet a good laywer could present a slew of arguments that would show his reputation in many circles is sterling. Showing that some people "like" Rush Limbaugh doesn't suffice. That statement of yours is actually ridiculous. "A good lawyer" Rush can't have it both ways, calling NFL players crips and bloods, but wanting to profit from them.

Why are you wasting your time talking to this ignorant fool?  He just called 20 Million loyal Limbaugh followers "lickers".
Do you know what that means?   Remember Shaq and his song about how does your ass taste? That's what a licker does.

Freeman is who the "N" word was created for. Irrational and not able to be educated.  Unfortunately there are too many young blacks that don't think for themselves because they are lazy and it's easier to  run around spreading rumors. Hell, half of them shoot each other , usually for words.  You dissed me, pow!! So you can imagine if someone said something racist sounding in 1970 they would never forget. Not a very forgiving people yet. There's a ton of reverse racism too. It gets old having to walk on egg shells knowing there are so many people who think like Freeman.

90%-95% of the blacks vote for Democrats who inact policies to keep them down. They give something for free rather than learn hard work like the Republicans preach. Maybe they don't want to be free if they want the Government to do anything? Do you really think Pelosi, Reid, Boxer and the rest LOVE black people? Haha. They laugh and say ya, we still got them in our pockets. We'll promise things for another 100 years. :)  Did you know many folks think Abe Lincoln was a Democrat!! LOL!!

Freeman actually is Rush times 100. Most Liberals are the most devisive people you will ever know. CBS should fire him but if they did there goes the token black guy and Al Sharpton would be at CBS's door. CBS would never fire people for having the same views as them.
Rock on,  FOX Network, Rush, Mark Levine, Coulter, Hannity and all the rest of the Conservatives!!

PS.  Rush is going to sue their asses off!!

Limbaugh: good riddance

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT FREEMAN!!  You reiterated false statements and don't get called on it, what kind of writer are you.  It will be Good Riddance when sportsline gets a backbone and penalizes or, dare I say, fires you for your bad reporting and inability to admit it.  Oh, but you will just hide behind your "my opinion" line, or start accusing CBS of being racists.  I guess I am a racist since I don't agree with you.  You don't even listen to Rush, you only hear the snippets that CNN and NBC feed you.  NOW WHO IS THE ROBOT?  He hasn't said "numerous" hateful things.  He is a rich, fat, white guy that you despise because he doesn't share your political views.  Freeman, do you feel worth anything, getting paid for this crappy, divisive writing.  You don't even produce any goods or services that people want, just a sorry "opinion" piece, and when I say piece, I think others know what I am talking about.  Jackson and Sharpton, HA!  I can't believe those guys still get attention, they are the real race baiters, as are you now my friend.  "Race baiter", give me three occassions where he has been guilty of "race baiting", oooh a new catch phrase.  By the way, I can't stand Rush, he is not the voice of me or any other conservatives I know, he is just a voice on the radio that will actually report things you don't hear about on the nightly news.  So am I a bad person Mr. Freeman?  Do you know me, or will I also be judged solely on MY OPINION?  Don't say it is not all about politics, it IS all about his politics, his just don't align with yours, Jackson's, Sharpton's or Smith's.  You are all Obama supporters, and Smith is the most political of all, so since Limbaugh questions and attacks Obama's policies, this is payback.  Just calling it like I see it.  So Freeman, do a little bit of real reporting for once, maybe on Smith.  Did you oppose his selection as NFLPA Exec Direc.  I thought politics don't have a place in sports?  You are a hypocrite.  By the way, do you have proof or just a gut feeling that Limbaugh said that "slavery had its merits"?  I guess people will believe anything they hear or read.

If Al Sharpton wanted to buy a team, Freeman, what would you say?
BucFan34 has a point here, Freeman.  I'm no fan of Limbaugh - can't stand the guy - but, please tell me and the rest of the CBS blogosphere how you'd react if a black race baiter like Sharpton were to buy the Rams. Somehow, I think you'll avoid the question altogether. But, if you do answer it, you'll certainly get more respect from me.

Limbaugh: good riddance

I'm good with this a$$ clown voicing his opinions.  However, this blog entry smacks with racism and double standards.  I guess I should just be impressed that he didn't plagiarize this like he has in the past.

If you are fed up with Freeman's crap, go to Help (up by your profile welcome) and click on the ask a question tab.  You can select Message Boards and then General Feedback to make it known that this piece of crap needs to go.

Limbaugh: good riddance

it would serve us all well for Rush to win a huge multimillion defamaiton suit against those that use the liberal media to totally make up comments and quotes that at totally wrong and never said - the lawsuit will put a damper on liars and fabricators of quotes and that is a good thing

Good luck rush!
