Limbaugh: good riddance

Hardcore race baiter and alleged pill popper Rush Limbaugh was kicked out by his own potential ownership group's bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams proving there is a (football) God.

Limbaugh was drop kicked by the head of the group, the respected Dave Checketts.

Rush has been Rushed.

This is a great day for those of us who see sports as a unifying force and not a dividing one.

Oh, go ahead, Limbaugh lickers, post your comments about how people have made up quotes or taken them out of context or call everyone a racist. Fire away, you brave anonymous message board flamers. That's what you do.

(This is said without malice and is my opinion: I believe almost any quote attributed to Limbaugh when it comes to race because he's said any number of ugly and hateful things. Just my opinion and belief.)

Limbaugh represents everything that's wrong with how people relate to one another today.

Now Limbaugh will manipulate the situation -- and manipulate his followers -- into believing that his lack of acceptance by the NFL is a conspiracy by the liberal media, feminists, blacks, ACORN, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, global warming believers, Oprah and Mexicans against him.

It's not about Limbaugh's politics, it's about Limbaugh himself. He's a bad person. That's it. End of story.

There are (and have been) current NFL owners who are horrible people but that doesn't mean the league has to let more in, especially more like Limbaugh.

Limbaugh's also a coward who sends his robotic fans to various media and message boards to do his dirty work for him.

You can't have it both ways, Rush-bo. You can't say numerous hateful things then try to back away from them or claim one or two things attributed to you aren't accurate. You don't get the benefit of the doubt on race.

So good riddance.

Hopefully the sports world will never hear from you again.

Limbaugh: good riddance

I thought conservatives hated the idea of using the courts to sue in this manner?  Don't they always want tort reform among other types of legal restrictions?  The conservative/Limbaugh wing of the GOP mostly voted (just recently) against a bill that would deny government contracts that barred their employees from suing after being raped on the job (the test case was someone who was ganged raped and put in a crate while working for a Halliburton company).  If you can't sue for that, the idea of using the courts because people said nasty things (some true and some untrue) about a public figure is laughable.  Good job playing the victim, Rush.

Limbaugh: good riddance

Putting you name on an opinion doesn't make it any more valid than anyone elses, however, I would expect someone in your position to have a more well-rounded, less biased opinion than others.  You're supposed to be the sports expert and professional here, and therefore should have the best, most articulate and thought out points based on more than pure emotion.  This entry was far from that, and left you looking like a biased, angry and bigoted man, no different than many of the less intelligent posts that can be found all over this site from various users.  You're better than that Mike, and if not, you should want to be better than that.

I'm not claiming you hide your identity, I'm saying you hide behind your opinion and call it journalism.  Also, I don't post my messages anonymously, they are all attached to my profile name, which means I am subjected to the same reader responses you are.

Limbaugh: good riddance

If you have proof of a more successful broadcaster in the history of American radio, put it out here for everyone to read!  Rush is successful BECAUSE millions of people listen to him and buy his products.  Disagree with Rush all you want but denying his success is just silly.

Wow, what an angry racist attack on a great American!  I'm sorry you have decided Rush is racist and that you choose to spew your venom without supplying any proof.  I'm sorry you are so blinded by hatred that you use your platform to attack those you disagree with.  I'm sorry that you are such an unhappy individual and I hope the sports world never hears from YOU again.

Rush is living the American dream.  He started with nothing and worked his butt off to become the BEST EVER at what he does.  He loves the NFL and has the ability - unprecedented in American History - to promote the Rams and the NFL.  His millions of loyal listeners would have made the Rams America's team and sent the sales of jerseys and other team merchandise through the roof!  Under the current CBA that cash would be shared with the players but now everyone loses.

Limbaugh: good riddance

"Hardcore race baiter . . . Rush Limbaugh . . ."About your allegation that Rush is a "hardcore race baiter" -- what is your proof of that, Mike?

Oh wait.  You "addressed" it in the following parenthetic expression, no?

"(This is said without malice and is my opinion: I believe almost any quote attributed to Limbaugh when it comes to race because he's said any number of ugly and hateful things. Just my opinion and belief.)"
That sounds just like a classic defense to libel -- at least of a "public figure."  But just because you say that your written words are "without malice" does not necessarily make it so!

In other words, you admit you have no proof at all claiming that Rush is a "hardcore race baiter" . . . you say it is just your "opinion and belief."

Tell us . . . how does your conclusion, which you admit is based ONLY on your "opinion and belief" differ from the views of generations of actual racists?

Weren't their views based only on their "opinions and belief?"

You are, of course, entitled to your "opinion and belief."   But given the fact that you admit that is all you have, why should anyone reading what you wrote pay any attention to you?  And why should anyone agree to you?

"Limbaugh represents everything that's wrong with how people relate to one another today."Proof?  Seeing none, please tell us, Mike, was writing this personal attack, alleging -- without any basis or proof -- that Rush is a "hardcore race baiter" an example of what is "right with how people relate to one another today."  Or, did you just do to Rush what you accused him of doing -- without any proof whatsoever?
"It's not about Limbaugh's politics, it's about Limbaugh himself. He's a bad person. That's it. End of story."If it is not about his politics, but is just that he is "a bad person," how specifically do you know that?  Have you ever met him, or spent any time with him that could give you a basis for making such a comment?

"Limbaugh's also a coward who sends his robotic fans to various media and message boards to do his dirty work for him."
Here is a fact for you.  I am not a fan of Rush Limbaugh, "robotic" or otherwise.  I occasionally read something on his website -- twice in the entire past calendar year -- and I never listen to him on the radio.   He did not "send" me here.  No one did.

I'm here because what you have written is so baseless that it needed to be confronted.

What is your "opinion and belief" about that?

Limbaugh: good riddance

Except George Soros is also is one of the buyers. If you even know who that is.

This double standard really comes to light when biased people like yourself and freeman use fake quotes for defamation and let people like George Soros get a free ride.
