Because Keith Olbermann has The Worst Person in the World, Bill O'Reilly his pinheads and sports has its jerks.

Dear Greg McElroy: I'm sorry dude.

I was wr...wr...wr...wrong.

You're not pedestrian, as I claimed before stupidly picking the Gators in the SEC title game. You're not a caretaker. You're not just a guy.

You were outstanding against Florida and I was wr...wr...wrong.

My bad, Greg. Please forgive me.

You made me and a whole bunch of folks look like dumbasses.

Now, I have to go. Gotta' get my Holla McGhee column ready.

Signed,

The Jerk

Thank you for apology..... I'm sure Greg took it and filed it away with all the other apologies...... but for the doubters....Greg in a slump? Saban was just taking him out of the equation... Florida didn't look at him as a threat and it came back to bite them.... make that came back to GATORCHOMP them.....

I could watch every game your team has ever played and pick "non calls" out the whole game too....as a matter of fact, every single game has it's share of those...you are dumb if you don't realize that.   There is no way you know anything at all about football if you think the "no calls" were intentional (they went both ways nutjob)...and the refs didn't kick Floridas teeth in...the dominating Crimson Tide did that...and they will do the same thing to Texas on January 8th....I know you are skeeeered...but just stay calm it will all be over soon.  Your limited intelligence will no doubt cause you to invision conspiracies...no calls...and anything to help curve your suicide urges.  Do us all a favor and don't fight it...it is what it is...just let it be.

I agree with your point that there is a lot of whining from Gator fans who just need to accept they were outplayed.  However, if you are going to comment on academics and critique his use of ellipsis as evidence, you should probably also understand the difference between "your" and "you're."  Your is possessive therefore showing ownership.  You're (note the correct usage) implying that he owns "too poor" and "an idiot."

UF did loose on their own play, you sound like just one more sore looser Gator fan.  Bama won that game fair and square, get over it already.  Now Bama will go to Pasadena an d pummel the mighty horns.  Roll Tide Roll

Hey Jerk,
Thanks for manning up and apologizing.  Greg McElroy played a near flawless gaming leading a powerful Alabama team to an old fashioned asswhipping of Timmy Tebow's Gators.  Wow, even us Tide fans were a bit surprised at the near perfect execution and thrashing of the Gators.

Sometimes you are can be wrong, but this time you were sooooooooooo wrong!

Here are the stars of the game:  QB McElroy, RB Ingram, TE Peek, Offensive Line, Defensive seconday, Coach Nick Saban.

Roll Tide, one more game to take care of business.

13th national title is in our sights.

Let the 'Losers' step aside...  Alabama has places to go and a date with destiny.  (Not the fabled stripper)
Every week we have heard the same sad story from fans of the defeated. (Bama Cheats, The refs threw the game to Bama, ect...)I guess in January we will find out if Texas is full of 'Cry babies' too.  Just once I'd like to see a coach, team, and fans own up to the fact that they lost the game.  It might hurt to do so, but, there is no shame to making the admission.
FWIW:  I saw the Texas game and agree with the refs putting 1 second back on the clock.  The replay showed it was the right thing to do.I feel sorry for Nebraska, they played well enough to win.  I only hope Texas plays Alabama like they played against Nebraska...
Eat your heart out TxAnnie. Yell

TXAnnie, I saw tons of non call florida penalties, they always get missed, Alabama rocked Florida, can't quite believe that you cant see this. I've seen a lot of block in the back non calls all the time. On the 2nd kickoff after florida kicked their field goal it sure looked like Florida had Aerena's helmet, come on we can go back and fourth but Florida had a complete lack of discipline. Also that holding penalty on the sack when Peek was being held, it was pretty clear when I watched the replay this morning that indeed it was a defensive hold, you cant just grab someones arm.

Ingram would have scored again if his knee were down but just like a first down you only need the tip :-) , it's not like Cody wouldn't have just opened up a hole like he always does. I hope your not a Texas fan, good luck :-), college football is not a sham, If it was such a sham why was Teebow crying like a baby at the end of the game.

It was a 19-point beatdown!  You claim the officials "handed it to them".  Did the officials run for over 250 yards against the #1 ranked defense in the country?  Did the officials tell Florida to abandon the run when it was evident FLA couldn't run against 'Bama?

For weeks, all I heard from everyone on this board (except for 'Bama fans) was that the Tide was weak, that FLA would whip them.  And, of course, after all the trash-talk, and after FLA got the whipping of their lives, and after all of Terrific Tim's tears on the sideline -- after all of that, the best FLA fans can come up with is to blame the officials when they get beat by 3 touchdowns on a neutral field!

Apparently Tebow wasn't the only Gator faithful shedding tears yesterday.  Sounds like all of the posts I've read from FLA fans indicate that the officials gave the game to 'Bama.  Sounds like y'all have a whole state full of crybabies.
