This is a horrific joke, right?

Please, in the name of all things holy, don't let this be true. I'm begging the basketball gods.

Teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton, according to the New York Post , allegedly drew guns on each other in the locker room.

We knew Arenas was a deadly accurate shooter but this is ridiculous.

And it was allegedly over a gambling debt. What kind of gambling debt causes guns to be allegedly drawn? What in the name of Tim Donaghy is that about?

If this report is true it would be unprecedented in sports and would again cause all the people who hate the NBA to once again call it Thugnificent. Some really enjoy pointing to the NBA as a symbol for what's wrong in sports when the truth is the league has mostly cleaned up its act.

This isn't what the NBA needs right now. It's just recovering from the Donaghy debacle and now come reports about a possible gun fight.

Pulp Fiction , NBA style.

If only Samuel L. Jackson was on the team.

I know this will be taken as a racist comment because in this PC moronic world we live in stating the truth can always get twisted by the Al Sharpton's of this world. What is up with African -Americans and guns? Any role models out there other than the thugs that get all the press? Throw both of them out of the league and have a "real" zero tolerance program in all of sports regardless of how much talent any player has black or white. No second chances, just gone.

I'll pile on too, I also won't watch NBA anymore.  It's been two years since I've watched a game mostly because I don't want to support these jokers.  I only read this story because the headline was so unbelievable I thought there must be a mistake.  If you want to watch good basketball watch college.

I also agree that Freeman is right...I hate the NBA because it's a terrible product on the court and a lot of the players are thuggish jerks.  This just reinforces that...thank you NBA and your players for showing us how stupid you truly are!

Freeman is right. I am one of the people who hates the NBA because of the me first attitude, ridiculous contracts and the fact that there are very few decent role models. If you are in your twenties and do not have kids then you won't understand the influence that pro athletes have on kids. I hate the NBA more now since this has happened. The league is a joke. I'll watch NCAA games anyday over these jokers.

Both of these empty headed jackasses should be temporarily suspended just for being mentioned in this mess. What the hell is David Stern and the NBA waiting for? Where there is smoke there is fire so you know this isn't  and maybe going to end well for Arenas and Crittenton. They deserve to be suspended for the rest of the season and maybe more.
