For telling the truth. Please, don't stop. Keep telling the truth. Even when the homophobes and extremists try to shout you down, and they will, keep telling the truth. Even when some African-Americans, bathing in hypocrisy, try to stop you by saying being gay equates to being less than human, keep telling the truth.

I'd argue that your stance now is almost as significant as your Hall of Fame career. You've lended a high profile voice to the fight for equality and yes, keep telling the truth when you're told it's not that. Because it is.

Thank you, Michael Irvin. Hopefully other high profile athletes will follow your lead.

Please, keep telling the truth.

Gays think they're celebrities because they have same sex relations.

If you want to be normal/equal, wouldn't you do just that?

It's never been about equality, it's ALWAYS been about special treatment.

I'm not a religous person but you'd think the Pope would have a little insight into the health of society. Let me guess, gay guys are smarter than the Pope?

"Pope Benedict XVI has suggested that the need to save mankind from a destructive blurring of gender roles is as important as saving the rainforests."

Which is it? Is it "sexual preference" "sexual orientation" "sexual identity"

For 40 years gays have had gay pride parades everywhere. Showing there pride in large groups. Now they are going to have a gay pride month and probably every major league will have teams wearing rainbow jerseys to support it. It doesn't take a genius to understand that when someone has so much pride about something it's a sign of a underlying emotional issue. I've never heard a gay person say, you know, I live a normal happy life and I'm at peace with everything. It's always I'M GAY AND I'M HERE AND YOU MUST RESPECT ME OR I'M TELLING THE MEDIA AND OMG OMG YOU ARE SO RUDE YOU ARE JUST LIKE THE KKK. Seriously, something is wrong with all of you. Prior to 1960 gay/lesbian behaviour was clinically defined as a mental illness. They had it right.

It's when you choose to have sex with guys and then tell the world we must respect you for it. Not gonna happen. To many reasonable normal people in the world.

...Hey buddy, you are not one of them.

[Keep my beliefs where they belong because they are based in Christianity (whether I actually say it or not), but yours, because secular, are defendable and allowed to influence laws and public policy and cannot be criticized.  Do you see the hipocracy?]

In some cases this could be tangeable, but in this case the only thing that secular beliefs are crusading is the protection of everyone's rights; regardless of sex, race, religion or sexual orientation, to the same things, including the cultural construct of marriage.  I have no problem with a church or pastor refusing to perform any rite they feel is inapropriate, but to have laws of the land denying a pastor or church or official from performing gay marriage on the whole, is an afront to the spirit of the Constitution, and demonstrates systemic discrimination.  And where is it said you cannot criticize anything in this country?  You are doing so right now.  Let's not get overdramatic about this, last time I checked, gays weren`t responsible for the collapse of the world economy, nor are they blowing things up and starting wars.  We have bigger fish to fry, let`s stop turning on our own brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, parents and cousins because they were Created differently.

Remember that guy who married his dog? I have more respect for that guy because he knew it was a joke. The point that all the gays miss is that no one has a problem with someone loving another guy or even having feminine tendencies, thats not a big deal. It's when you choose to have sex with guys and then tell the world we must respect you for it. Not gonna happen. To many reasonable normal people in the world.

Thank you Michael Irvin.  Thank You for snorting coke off of hookers bellies.  Thanks for giving the fans of Philly something to cheer about when you were knocked unconscious.  Thanks for shaming your late brother's memory by stating that his homosexuality is what made you an out of control womanizer.  Yes, thank you Michael Irvin for being another wonderful supporter of the gay community.  I am sure they are proud to have a coke fiend convicted felon supporting their cause.  Go back to trying to utter a coherent sentence on the NFL Network and leave the social topics to those who people take seriously.
