Chad Ochocinco to Patriots

That is not a misprint. It's true. Chad Ochocinco, according to a team source, is likely headed to New England.

I'm told it's not yet official but darn close. The source said there will still some loose ends to tie up. The source also would not say what the compensation was.

But it looks like the deal is going to happen.

This has been one of the more amazing 24 hours in recent Patriots history--and this is a team that has won Super Bowls.

Bill Belichick is a huge fan of Ochocinco and the feeling is mutual.

Just...unreal.

Chad Ochocinco to Patriots

Do you understand football? At all? do you know why Houshmandzadeh had success against the Steelers? Because 85 was demanding all the attention, therefore opening things up for his teammates. Just cause a WR like that doesnt have a big day in the stat sheets does not mean he isn't gameplanned for and demanding attention by the defense, which in turn opens things up for other players. Ocho will create more space for the TEs and Welker. I guess you are one of those football "fans" who bases everything off of the generic box score. Clearly (well maybe not to people like you) that is the incorrect way to judge football at times.

And you're also one of those people that use the word "we" when discussing the team you root for. Guess what, you're not on the team, so there is no "we".

I can't wait to bring this hilarious uneducated comment that you made back up at the end of the season...  You sound like some of the morons back when the Patriots got Randy Moss on the cheap. And we all know what happened in that season... I'm not saying 85 will do anything like that, but still, just because a player grows tired of a certain team, doesnt mean a change of scenery won't help them.
rgrergvEducate yourself on eer game of football before you go spitting out your ignorant trash.

Ps, I DID look up the stats that you so arrogantly claimed that Ocho has NEVER and you mean "NEVER" done anything and "you", or "us" like you described the Steelers, whom you DON'T actually play for.

Here are a few random games over the course of his career...7 catches, 71 yds, 7 catches, 152 yds, 6 catches, 117 yds and a td, 5 catches, 80 yds and a td, 6 catches for 82 yds, 8 catches for 52 yds and a td. Should I keep going?

in 19 games against PIT, his avg game is about 4.6 receptions for 61 yds. Not exactly dominant, but not "shut down" to the point of "never doing anything, ever".

You need to start knowing what the hell you're talking about before you run your mouth.

Good day.

Chad Ochocinco to Patriots

Clearly, the signing of Albert "Headstomper" Haynesworthless and Chad 8 dash 5 are the most hilarious moves of this shortened offseason. What I find even more hilarious is the reaction from the New England fans. Really? You're excited, not outraged, by this? Have you seen these two losers play the past few seasons?

Chad 8 dash 5 is the funniest to me. Funny because in order to win the AFC this season, the Pats will almost surely have to go through New York or Pittsburgh, or both. First, let's take my team, the Steelers. Actually, Chad would like to take them out of the picture because he has never done any damage to our defense. I mean, never. Look up the stats, if you want. While T.J. used to give us fits, 8 dash 5 was always a joke to us Steeler fans, albeit a funny one. Ike Taylor will shut him down this year as he does every year. Nobody, however, will shut him up.

O.K., now let's look at the Jets. You know, the team with maybe the best secondary in the league. Remember two years ago, when Chad 8 dash 5 proclaimed in a nationally televised interview that he would change his name back to Johnson if Revis shut him down that week? Well, Revis did shut him down, completely. On top of that, Revis completely shut him down again in the playoffs just a week or two later. For some reason, though, Chad's last name is still Spanish for 8 dash 5.

I won't even comment of Haynesworthless; watch his pathetic excuse for playing football this season, Pats fans, it will do all talking for me.
