Is Tebow now untradeable?

The consensus in speaking with a handful of team personnel executives when it comes to one Tim Tebow is this: A trade could happen, but it's becoming increasingly likely the Broncos will keep or cut Tebow because the trade interest is dwindling rapidly.

The executives portray the Tebow situation as a complicated one. They believe that while the Broncos are not openly trying to trade Tebow, they say that when teams have recently inquired about him, the Broncos haven't been saying he's off the trading block, either.

Again, just to be clear, the Broncos aren't openly shopping Tebow but teams that have asked were told: Make us an offer we can't refuse.

The Broncos might deny this, but based on their recent actions, it seems they're realizing Tebow might not be a bona fide NFL thrower. Tebow was the third quarterback in Denver's last game. It might not stay that way, and there is a solid chance Tebow simply stays in Denver and learns and the franchise keeps him around.

But do you put a guy you like in that kind of embarrassing situation? Probably not.

The are two big problems for the Broncos and Tebow. First, there's the belief that the Broncos might even cut Tebow (I don't see that), so why would a team trade for him?

Second, some in football think Tebow might need to be switched to another position. One team executive says he believes Tebow would be a Pro Bowl fullback, a belief I've heard several times from others around the sport.

It's a complicated matter with no easy solution for the Broncos or Tebow. In a few weeks, or even less, we'll know his future for sure.

Is Tebow now untradeable?

This proves he is an egomaniac who believes he is going to be the next Tom Brady...NO OTHER EXPLAINATION. He has been told he has a future in the NFL....BUT he has to change positions. His reponse has been NO WAY!!! "I am The Great Tim Tebow, CBS says so every Saturday afternoon in the fall while they try and convince everbody how good I am"

He's just another spoiled brat (you listening Verne "Fat Boy" Lundqusit) who when he doesn't get things his way (play QB) then he takes his ball and go the Phillipines and perform open-heart surgery with a paper clip, a jock strap and copy of himself on the cover of SI.  Rumor has it, if you spend fifteen minutes with Timmy-boy it will change your life...because you will spend the rest of the day being ill.

Hey, Timmy, instead of alienating guys like Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy at the Heisman Award Ceremony, you should have been listening to them. I know its hard for you to believe, but you JUST MIGHT HAVE LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THESE TWO FINE YOUNG N...F...L...STARTING QBs!!!

Yes LSU, Tebow is an embarrassment to humanity.  If he could only be more like a great man such as Jordan Jefferson ... oh wait.  Shut up you jealous swampfeeder.  Tebow battered the vaunted LSU defense for a few years so you hate him.  No one wants to hear what you think because your opinion is tainted.

Yes he was picked way too high, and yes he has a lot of work to do if he is ever going to be a decent starting QB (and that might not happen), but his desire to work to be a QB should not be ridiculed.  If he were asked to do work at another position, he would line up and play.  He is a team-first guy, unlike the way your post makes him sound.

Anyway, worry about your own problems.  Isn't half your team facing felony charges?  I know they will all get a slap on the wrist because you open with a tough game, but that makes you and your ilk the last people who should have any comments about what players can learn from others.  And I know, they are all innocent victims in that fight.  It is easy to criticize others and defend your own right?  It's the American way.

Is Tebow now untradeable?

No kidding. This isn't even worthy of Bleacher Report. It doesn't say anything we haven't already known, and is so over qualified (they may trade, cut, or keep him, but it's becoming highly unlikely they'll trade him, and I don't see them cutting him, but...) as to be completely devoid of information.

And no, we won't know Tebow's future for sure in a few week. At best we'll know whether or not he'll remain a Bronco this year.

The NFL Insider needs to up his game even more than Tebow.

Is Tebow now untradeable? maybe, but mmessick=ass

Mmessick - no need to tell you where you are wrong because that'd be wasting time.  It's easier to make two pts:
1. have you ever watched tebow play?  his form is horrible.  his reads are bad.  and his decisions are pathetic.
2. would love to watch denver play tebow twice in silver and black!  LOVE IT, you dumbass.

Tebow was given a top 50 contract. He doesn't have the tools or the skillset to justify being paid at any tier among that ranking. If Tebow was an unlikeable bum like  Pacman or Vince Young, this wouldn't even be a conversation. It's unfortunate that such discussions have to include a class act in college and the pros, but it's a business at the end of the day. Win or lose, sale or no sale.

Perhaps Tebow should sit and reflect as to his value to the team. Perhaps his position might be that of a tight end or running back.

I don’t think this will happen no matter what anyone would say to Tim. Tim think of himself as a quarterback That is in fact what he is, and any other position is  a demotion in his mind.

It matter not what we as fans, sport writer or whatever we might be think of him, he is a quarterback.

He won the Heisman as a quarterback validating his belief that he is in fact a quarterback.

The Bronco’s may trade him, cut him or bench him, if he go to another team or catch on with another team it will be that of a quarterback.

Is his contract actually bloated? He wasn't exactly taken at the top of the first round or anything.

Is Tebow now untradeable?

The so called journalists' and nfl pundents have lost their collective minds. Fist Tebow is a second yr player who when put in games last year performed well. He had just as good as numbers as Orton, his record was 1-2 as a starter where Orton was 3-11. Next are we really going to take lessons from J. Fox who lost his Carolina job because he rode the stink of a horse in J. Delhome? Really? And is anyone really saying they believe Quinn is an answer? Why is no one clammering for him? Tebow is in the start of his 2nd yr in a new offense with no off season development, he needs a little time so give it to him. A Rodgers sat 4 years and turned out ok, C Palmer sat one, go that route or throw him into the fire for a season and see if he improves or better yet wins games because thats what he does. Or not, cut him please because he will be picked up in a better situation, and or but brought in to play. Oakland please pick him up so Denver gets to see this guy two times a yr and make them pay. Denver is a joke as is Fox when have they won last, if you honestly look at it objectively tell me where Im wrong.

Um..., why? Bloated first-round qb contract for a fullback? He's obviously not an NFL qb. Seriously think before you type....

Dolphins or Seahawks should pick him up.
