Is Tebow now untradeable?

The consensus in speaking with a handful of team personnel executives when it comes to one Tim Tebow is this: A trade could happen, but it's becoming increasingly likely the Broncos will keep or cut Tebow because the trade interest is dwindling rapidly.

The executives portray the Tebow situation as a complicated one. They believe that while the Broncos are not openly trying to trade Tebow, they say that when teams have recently inquired about him, the Broncos haven't been saying he's off the trading block, either.

Again, just to be clear, the Broncos aren't openly shopping Tebow but teams that have asked were told: Make us an offer we can't refuse.

The Broncos might deny this, but based on their recent actions, it seems they're realizing Tebow might not be a bona fide NFL thrower. Tebow was the third quarterback in Denver's last game. It might not stay that way, and there is a solid chance Tebow simply stays in Denver and learns and the franchise keeps him around.

But do you put a guy you like in that kind of embarrassing situation? Probably not.

The are two big problems for the Broncos and Tebow. First, there's the belief that the Broncos might even cut Tebow (I don't see that), so why would a team trade for him?

Second, some in football think Tebow might need to be switched to another position. One team executive says he believes Tebow would be a Pro Bowl fullback, a belief I've heard several times from others around the sport.

It's a complicated matter with no easy solution for the Broncos or Tebow. In a few weeks, or even less, we'll know his future for sure.

Maxjoe's true identity

By the way, maxjoe, go to class, or read a book, or something.  You sound illiterate.

Joe Paterno.  Now that he is sidelined he is obsessed with posting about Tebow.  And he is, as you can see, completely addlepated.

I wish ESPN wasn't trash - there are no good sources for sports.

Is Tebow now untradeable?

Gatorbait - Tebow over Henne?  Do you not remember that Citrus Bowl game where Michigan beat UF?  Henne threw the ball all over field while Timmy ran that qb draw over and over and over to no effect.  Last time they were on the same field there was not doubt who was the better qb.  Plus Henne has much better NFL stats.  Where do you come up with this stuff?

Cuda,

Sure I remember the game against Michigan.  Now what the hell does that have to do with my post?  When did Henne's name come up?  When did Michigan come up?  I told another guy that Tebow beat up on LSU and the SEC for a few years, which he did.  By the way, didn't Tebow win the Heisman the year you are talking about?  Yeah, he was terrible in college, I guess.

Dude, pay attention to the posts before you write something stupid.  If you can read, which is a big "if," I say I didn't like Denver drafting Tebow because I don't think he has the stuff to be an NFL starter.  As you say "where do you come up with this stuff?"; stick to what you know, man.

I'll say the same thing about Tebow that I do about Terrelle Pryor.  Tebow should be a TE or an H-back.  He would be a horrific matchup problem for any LB.  Any QB is intelligent enough to learn the subtlties of the TE position.  Tebow is fast and tough to tackle.  He could be a great TE or H-back.  As an H-back, he could throw the occasional option pass.  He could also run a wildcat variant part-time like he did as a freshman.

Tebow has gotten his opportunity to play QB.  Now, it's time to be a football player.

Is Tebow now untradeable?

Gator Bait 08...really...Little Timmy "battered" LSUs defense...really??? I couls care less about Timmy Tea Pot, I am just telling it like it is. I have berated JJ and Jamarcus Russell because they suck....it's not hard...you can do it...say it...TT is NO NFL QB!!!!  Besides, I have been a football fan much longer than you have been a drop-out at FU...or is it UF? The problem with you Gay-terd fans is you are use to him having his over-sized ego and back side stroked and ALL you fools believed he would be an NFL QB. Anybody outside of Lames-ville knew that was not the case except Fat Man Lundquist and Sorry Danielson. So geaux back to your fantasy world when Suburban and the Felons ruled the SEC because Saban is back and the REAL Tigers ain't going NOWHERE!!! Prepare for some more butt pain in Red Stick...boy.

Actually, it is Dr., big guy.  I'm not sure what drop-out means, but I'm sure it is a chronic problem in a state full of illiterate Cajuns.  Next, I don't think Tebow is an NFL quarterback.  I am a Broncos fan as well as a UF alum, and I hated the pick.  But yes, Tebow beat up LSU for a few years.  Credit to LSU for sneaking out a win with a much better team on a bunch of gutsy fourth-down calls, but Tebow still lit them up that game; then, he bounced back and murdered the Tigers the next year.  Go watch some footage on your mom's concole TV and her fancy new VCR bud.

Dude, I am not the Tebow-lover you want to imagine.  I just saw what really happened, and all the other fans in the SEC can't seem to get over the fact that he wrecked everybody.  I went to school during the Danny Wuerffel years.  He did the same thing and then fizzled out in the NFL.  Doesn't mean he didn't stomp LSU and everyone else for a few years.  Get over it.  I don't hate on LSU players who burned the Gators in college, but I guess you have nothing better to do.

By the way, if you don't think the Gators will be a force for years to come, get real!!!
