Saints say no interest in Moss, thank goodness

Another day, maybe another locker room that Randy Moss was reportedly ready to join and, subsequently, obliterate.

Don't do it, New Orleans. Do. Not. Do it.

A television station in New Orleans is reporting that Moss visited the Saints. Not sure if it's accurate -- the Saints are denying interest -- but I can still see the Saints doing this. They just lost Marques Colston for at least a month to a busted collarbone. So Moss must look appealing.

But Moss has always looked appealing and at one point he was actually worth the headaches he caused but recently Moss has absolutely poisoned almost every locker room he's been in. Moss is one of the worst teammates the sport has ever seen. Look at the evidence.

He was traded out of Minnesota. He was a disgrace in Oakland. The Patriots sent him packing even though they still need a speed receiver. He was a waste in Tennessee. He has been a disaster almost every place he's been.

The Saints' locker room is a very unified group just a short time removed from the Super Bowl. Adding a Moss would corrode that unity the way it did in New England and other places.

Let's put it this way: the Falcons, Packers and other divison and conference rivals are hoping the Saints sign him.

A Saints spokesman says there's no truth to the Moss talk. If that's true -- and it's a big if since Saints management isn't always straight with the media -- the team is being smart.

But if they are considering Moss. Don't do it, New Orleans.

Don't.

Look, I am not Moss's biggest fan, but what is with the hatred.  Drew Brees would absolutely love to throw to this guy.  The fact is when you have a qb who can actually throw the ball, he excels.  He sucked in Minnesota because the coach hated him, he had two the most mediocre QBs in Oakland and Tennesee, both teams geared for the run.  THe facts don't lie, he is one of the greatest receivers that has ever played the game.  He would help the Saints and the Saints would help him.  A close knit team like the Saints would be the best thing for him.  Especially for the lower price that he would have to sign for!!

Bro, we get you don't like him.  All his teammates have loved him his whole career.  Wilfork cried!!!  He did have 1008 and 8 his first year in Oak, and Childress might be the worst coach to ever be on a sideline and made Moss the scapegoat.  2 disasters long before he got there.  Belicheck got rid of him b/c of contractural reasons from Moss saying trade me if you're not signing me.  153 TD's in 13 years....enough said.  He's not a backstabber and throw you under the bus TO.

Saints say no interest in Moss, thank goodness

Saints have had Joe Horn on their roster who was a diva, arrogant, very talented, and was responsible for a future HOF'er leaving town. Horn makes Moss look like a boy scout. The lockeroom leadership is much improved since that time as well. Moss would of been a great addition to the Saints. You're dead wrong Freeman.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather take a chance on Terrell Owens than Randy Moss. At least TO cares about his body and his career, unlike captain "I dont' feel like running my route this snap".

You wouldn't take a gamble with one of the best wideouts of all time? Look, if he came to you to talk about playing, I have the feeling he's gonna give you a half decent effort. And Drew Brees and Sean Payton should be able to keep him straight if something is to go wrong.

Freeman has been on a bit of a roll lately.  I agree 100%.. Moss is a cancer, so I Ownes, OchoStinko, Dez Bryant, Plexiglass... and the list goes on.  For people who want to have a team.. do not put any of these crummy human beings on your payroll.

Saints: Randy Moss will destroy you

Just say, "Randy Moss should not be employed by the NFL ever again." Isn't that what you meant to say? And when you have the balls to state that opinion, continue with a worth while list of players that should not be employed by the NFL, that is, since you are the commish and all, you know, the one responsible for cleaning up the NFL? Who are you telling "don't" anyway? Funny.
