The Daily Shoutout: Marshall guarantees win

Posted on: October 28, 2011 10:48 am

OPENING HIT: Brandon Marshall tweeted this on Friday morning: "To: Media When we win Sunday please don't say the Giants didn't take us serious"

Now, a few things.

Brandon Marshall is guaranteeing a victory. Stupid.

He's on a winless Miami team and he's saying they'll beat the Giants and while he's at it, he's chastising the media. This comes on the heels of Marshall saying he was going to have a monster game against the Jets. He didn't have one.

I don't want to make too big a deal out of this but its moments like these when Marshall is hard to take. What you'd like to see from Marshall is just a guy putting his head down and busting his ass. Maybe Marshall is doing some of that but tweets like that one make him look foolish. Why in the hell is someone on a winless team guaranteeing victories?

Just shut up and play.

Is that too much to ask?

The Daily Shoutout: Marshall guarantees win

Seriously..... If brandon Marshall didn't talk smack would we even be talking about the Dolphins?

The coach lost the players a long time ago.

There's a bunch of veteran guys on this team that look forward to cashing their paycheck vs. winning ball games on Sunday.

Can anyone explain to me why the Dolphins brought Reggie Bush to the team but they make no emphasis on using his receiving skills out of the back field???

smh

HATERS!  All of you!  My Fins have a "lame-duck" coach and just lost a game that with 6 minutes left, I thought they had no chance to lose.  Their current starting QB wouldn't even be on most NFL rosters.  Yet, they continue to play well enough to win most games.  As a diehard Fins fan, I have never been a big fan of Marshall's mouth but he just won me over!  Here is a guy who hasn't quit when players like TO or Moss would have.  Keep talking Marshall!  Just remember o back it up on the field!  THE GIANTS ARE GOING DOWN!

Someone on this team had the light the flame under everyone's butts...just, not Marshall, anybody but Brandon Marshall. I'd almost rather hear it from Matt Moore...ideally though, Jason Taylor or Cameron Wake

The Daily Shoutout: Marshall guarantees win

There is no question about Brandon Marshall's talent.  He's top 5 based on talent alone.  However, factor in his poor QB, his poor team, his lack of other offensive weapons to keep the heat out of him, and that drops him into the teens or even low twenties.  He should know that he should keep his mouth shut and just play.  I think that defensive coaches and players respect his abilities, but they certainly do not fear the Dolphins!

Marshall: Shut the f*%k up

Marshall has mouth, way too big for his talent. Given the number of balls he has dropped, the way he was outplayed in the Jets game and the fact that is production has been luke-warm at best since arriving in South Florida, he needs to humble himself. He, Reggie Bush and several other, underperforming players have contributed to the 0-6 collapse of the Dolphins. He needs to shut up and let his deeds on the field speak for him. Right now, he just sounds like a stupid punk from the hood.

The Daily Shoutout: Marshall guarantees win

Seems to me Marshall is looking for a ticket straight out of Miami.  Funny thing is he can't guarantee he'll make a catch let alone a touchdown.  What a miserable excuse of a WR he is in the NFL. The last time he was relevant he played for the same team that just embarrased him this past week. Can you say "Loser"?

The Daily Shoutout: Marshall guarantees win

Marshall, you have no business to guarantee a win over Alcorn State, no less an NFL team.  The only thing you should guarantee is the #1 pick in April's draft.  Twitter - the most useless invention of all time.  Who cares what these clowns have to say or where they are?  Not me....I have my own life to live.
