Ndamukong Suh has appealed his suspension, according to a source close to the star.

Suh was urged, I'm told, by union and others that suspension was heavy handed and he should appeal. He officially has.

How smart is that? I don't know. Should Suh just take his punishment like a grownup? Maybe. But appealing is his right.

And he's done just that.

Suh to appeal suspension

Suh, just take your punishment and hire someone to help you learn to control your anger on the field. Whether you like it or not, most kids playing your position thinks of you highly but your antics are sending a wrong message to them. Just grow up, mentally, and let your talent do the talking instead of your stupidity. You're not in college anymore, you're a grown man, making good money, talented, don't let your rage explode your dream.

Suh to appeal suspension

I really liked Suh coming out of Nebraska and even as a rookie.  This year, he has become just another out of control thug on the field.  How can he talk about Christian values on one hand and then stomp on an opponent with the other/foot.  Suh is seriously confused and ought to take his very light punishment like a man instead of a baby.  I have lost all respect for the punk.
