Peyton Manning insists he's made no decision on his possible NFL destination. Sure, Peyton. Sure.

No one in the league believes that. They think Manning has a short list but doesn't want to publicly admit it so he can maximize the inevitable bidding war.

One team official that contacted Manning's agent, Tom Condon, says he got the definite impression that Manning indeed has already decided where he wants to go, or, at least, the handful of teams truly in the mix. The official, who did not want to be identified, believes that Miami, Washington and Denver are the front-runners. One report states Manning has already informed the Redskins he doesn't want to play for them.

But the official conceded the front-runner will be the team that, in the end, offers the most guaranteed money.

The official believes that contrary to some reports, Manning is indeed open to playing in the NFC, even in the NFC East where his brother Eli, is obviously king of the division.

It's still early in the process but one thing is clear: the Manning derby is fully under way and, despite his public protestations, Manning likely already has a good idea of where he wants to go.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

Wrong paddycake, paddycake, bakers-man! KC will be very good with a healthy Manning at the helm. Keep telling yourself that and maybe you will actually start to believe it. He will win every matchup against the crybaby they call Rivers! I am surprised someone on his own squad hasn't knocked his lights out! Who yells at him when he screws up? His alter-ego or split-personality? He is a flake and so are you guys. You won't see the AFC West Title for a 3rd consecutive year so go bake me a cake as fast as you can!

Broncos have about 50 million in cap room, so manning do you have any friends you'd like to bring to Denver? I really how this works out. Tebow could be mentored by elway & manning, that's huge.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

I know that Manning is to be respected for what he did for Colts. If I were a GM the only way I would take him is if I had a QB in training. He is past his prime, at the most he has 3-4 yrs left that is if he doesnt take a hit first. He is not a long term solution he is a qick fix.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

Not really. Chargers sucked last year and will likely find a way to suck again next season. Still doesn't change the fact the KC and Denver suck as well and aren't going to be any better even if they added Manning.

Damn.  Hard to talk trash against self-aware fans.  Respect.

I think if Denver replaced Tebow with Manning, they would definitely be better. I don't know by how much because you have to figure, while you're getting a much better passing game, you lose some of your running game. Still, I don't see how replacing Tebow with Manning wouldn't at leats make them a little better. Plus, Manning has invaluable post-season experience and, if the Broncos could work it out, serve as the best possible mentor for Tebow.

If I were Manning, I'd take a hard look at Denver. They made the playoffs and have a good defense. Miami, on the other hand, is not good, has not been good for a while and plays in a much tougher division.

I will take 2 losses to the Redskins every year if it means a Super Bowl every 4 years.  You and every other Skins fans says the same old crap "beat you guys twice" so what?  You have not won a significant game in 20 years and it is dumbfounding how you still fill up that ghetto of a stadium with some of the most ignorant fan base in professional sports.  I might agree with you that the Redskins make the playoffs sooner than later but "most" of you have delusions of grandeur all off-season until you realize halfway through the regular season there is now a 21 year wait and so on and so forth.  Hey I say keep the faith but please don’t hold your breath too long because you might pass out waiting for a miracle season that is better than the tune of 5-11.  Good day Sir.
