Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

Peyton Manning insists he's made no decision on his possible NFL destination. Sure, Peyton. Sure.

No one in the league believes that. They think Manning has a short list but doesn't want to publicly admit it so he can maximize the inevitable bidding war.

One team official that contacted Manning's agent, Tom Condon, says he got the definite impression that Manning indeed has already decided where he wants to go, or, at least, the handful of teams truly in the mix. The official, who did not want to be identified, believes that Miami, Washington and Denver are the front-runners. One report states Manning has already informed the Redskins he doesn't want to play for them.

But the official conceded the front-runner will be the team that, in the end, offers the most guaranteed money.

The official believes that contrary to some reports, Manning is indeed open to playing in the NFC, even in the NFC East where his brother Eli, is obviously king of the division.

It's still early in the process but one thing is clear: the Manning derby is fully under way and, despite his public protestations, Manning likely already has a good idea of where he wants to go.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

I can't wait to see where he goes and what he gets.  He will never be the same QB he was before.  I don't care who you are, nerve will not regenerate as it was prior, as different nerve fibers will pick up different muscle fibers to compensate for the nerve damage.  So the nerves will never be the same, if they even regenerate at all.  I will be surprised if he plays again, and certainly not anywhere near the level he used to be.  I'm not a hater, just educated, and I wish him the best.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

Stop pretending to be in the know.

Manning only yesterday said his emotional farewell and you have him scheming in another breadth as where he is going is a joke and travesty to your trying to captivate readers is truly a sad story about your ethical standards as a journalist.

Manning will listen to those who are seriously interested in his services and who give hime the best chance to win.

So stop with the nonsense that you already know where Manning is going to rest his hat.

Has Manning already narrowed his choices?

Just my 2 cents, I live in Denver, my wife is from Miami. Out of the past 5 years that we have been married, travelling down to Miami for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we have continually run into worse weather than what we left in Denver. Know what you are talking about before making idiotic statements.

Manning to Arizona

Why? Because of the four or five legitimate teams in the Manning sweepstakes, the Cardinals:

1. Are the closest to the Superbowl
2. Have the best coach
3. Have the best WR
4. Have the classiest WR.

Marshall = knucklehead.
Holmes = knucklehead.
Moss = no longer #1 caliber.

I personally will enjoy watching the Rams compete against Manning twice a year for the next three or four seasons. And i certainly don't subscribe to the "Oh no, he's in our division now!" mentality of weaklings.

Manning to Arizona....book it, Dano.

All you Broncos fans are just straight RATS if you want this guy. All i remember hearing is "TEBOW" chants for all of 2 years ago and the first half of last year. I mean goodness please show some sort of loyalty to Tebow the guy only was the reason why that team made the playoffs(dont care how good the D played they werent that good with Orton out there so he must have had some sort of influence on them)
