Live from Clemens hearing

My computer battery is dying so this might be my last blog for a bit. In the last exchange, Roger Clemens and his lawyers clearly walked into a huge trap. They didn't know that Congress had so much information from the nanny and they used it to beat Clemens over the head. I think that testimony buried him. He needs to tap out.

Again, with the testimony of Andy Pettitte and Chuck Knoblauch behind him, Brian McNamee, while no angel, seems far more credible.

Mr. Clemens will be forever tied to the steroid era of MLB. Question: Have we reached the end of the era yet?

Sensible. If you feel that way for others inc. Bonds, then you are naive but consistent and honest. I can live with that.

None of the above ...

I just am tired of the Haters ... you see the Nanny says one thing to back up McNamee and she is all of sudden the most trust worthy person in the word. One her testimony is sworn; wrong. Two she never stated how Clemens was at the house just that she was there with the Family. Clemens may not have even been there ...

What I say is simply this ... Did  Clemens take HGH & Steroids, yep and did Bonds, yep. But until I see a failed drug test or  DNA evidence or something. I am not calling Clemens a liar like everyone else is, nor Bonds. This government was built on the Premise of Innocent 'til proven guilty. Not guilty because one man says so and having to prove my innocence.

I don't care how you answer questions (Clemens or McGwire), how large your Cranium is (Bonds), or the fact all of sudden you forgot how to speaka da English (Sosa); we are all innocent 'til proven guilty. Something people are to easily forgetting now ...

"The committee's chief of staff, Phil Schilaro, said that there has been no talk about the committee making a referral to the Justice Department to call for a criminal proceeding. He said there's no need for an official referral because everything is already being presented in front of the Justice Department. Epstein says that later in the day the committee's website will have a transcript that shows that the nanny remembers the Clemens family being at Canseco's house during the time period but that she does not have specific details of the party. One other note: McNamee did lie at some point about having a Ph.D. He had some credits from a school that turned out to be basically a diploma mill, and was shuttered by the state of Louisiana."

Now this sounds just a bit more accurate ...

Isn't "Tap Out" a MMA term?  You really are a closet UFC fan aren't you?

Clemens is done.  He would be better off just standing up and saying that he lied, he is sorry and please forgive him. Loser.
