Parnevik regrets introducing Tiger and Elin

In by far the strongest sentiment expressed so far by a PGA Tour player, Swedish veteran Jesper Parnevik blistered Tiger Woods on Wednesday for the way he has treated his wife, Elin, who is Parnevik’s former nanny.

Parnevik introduced the two in 2001 and they began dating soon thereafter, eventually marrying in 2005. If and when Woods finally relocates from Orlando to his new mansion under construction in Jupiter, Fla., he and Parnevik will be neighbors, their homes separated by the Intracoastal Waterway.

Those waters might be a bit chilly.

Playing this week at PGA Tour Qualifying School finals in West Palm Beach, Parnevik told the Golf Channel that he was upset at himself for ever introducing the pair.

“I would be especially sad about it since I'm kind of -- I really feel sorry for Elin -- since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him," Parnevik said. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of the 3-iron."

Woods denied that there was a domestic incident between the pair, though that hasn't stopped rampant speculation about what went down when Woods crashed his Cadillac SUV into a tree six days ago after caroming off three different curbs, plus hitting two rows of hedges and a fire hydrant.

Parnevik, 44, said he hasn't spoken with Woods since the accident on Friday. And we're guessing they won’t be talking anytime soon after Woods sees this, either.

“It's a private thing of course," he told Golf Channel. "But when you are the guy he is, the world's best athlete, you should think more before you do stuff.

“And maybe not just do it, like Nike says."

Jesper who? Oh, you mean that skinny lil freak with the funny hat and Pepto Bismol pants? That doesn't even have his Tour card at the moment? He'll wish he hadn't shot his mouth off like that, because stuff like that is never forgotten. Just ask Fuzzy Zoeller.

It makes one feel "naive" for believing in the quality of another's character.

I agree with Yesper!  Elin should leave the jerk and take as much money as she can get.  Their two children deserve a better father, one who is loyal to them and their mother.  I believe that his golf game will suffer a great deal and his career will hit rock bottom.  I will be surprised if he wins another major tournament during the remainder of his playing days.  I would hope that his lucrative product endorsements will be terminated in the same manner that Fuzzy Zoeller experienced for a very trevial comment several years ago.  If Nike and AT&T continue their support of Tiger I will boycott their products.  Fuzzy's one innocent comment pales in comparison to Tiger's on-going deception and cheating behavior.  Tiger and his caddie, Steve Williams, were the most arrogant duo in professional golf.  It now appears that Tiger's father spent far too much time developing his son's golf game and an insufficient amount of time preparing him to be a responsible, mature and trusting adult.

Good for Tiger - so he got a little side action. So What!!!  Doesn't mean he loves his wife any less. You know Parnevik has gotten himself a little pudding on the side at least once in his married life. What a hypocrite.

Parnevik regrets introducing Tiger and Elin

"I find it amusing that there are all these new people on here defending tiger.  I guarantee you that most of them are black, and would defend obama the same way.  It does not matter what either of them do, so long as they are black it is all good right?"

What the hell is this?  This is about one man and his wife, and their relationship.  What does it matter their color?  What does the race of those defending him matter?  Race does not mean anything, and your statement jsut proves that you're an idiot.  Plus, you bring Obama into this, despite the fact that every single inch of his past was uncovered over the last 3 years, and not once did anyone ever suggest that, even maybe, did he cheated on his wife.

I personally think that this is none of our business, just as it will be none of our business if they go through a messy divorce.  But on the flip side of that, Tiger had to know that one day this would come out.  Few people are in the spotlight more than Tiger, so he should have known people would find out, and when they did, a storm of media coverage would invade his life - just the facts of life in our society.  As a previous poster already mentioned, there is a big difference between supporting someone and saying it is none of our business.  It's really not even close to being the same thing.

But back to the original purpose of my post:

tommy29223, racist a-holes like you are the only reason I AM going to support Tiger fully in this.  I am college educated, whiter than any Keebler elf, and I will back Obama too.  Mostly because I hope that pisses you off.  And for once in your life, you can't resort to the race card.  Both Obama and Tiger are 100 times the man you could ever dream to be, because no matter what they could possibly do in their lives, nothing is lower than hating someone for no other reason than the color of their skin.  It is a blind hatred that only ignorant, closed minded, pathetic losers embrace, because they are so worthless they need someone else to look down on, to be beneath them.  And since there is no one beneath you, you had to fabricate some complete illusion to make yourself feel better about being such a loser.

Man, I feel better.

I find it AMUSING that you had to bring race and politics in this issue.

Saying that it is NONE OF THE PUBLIC'S BUSINESS is not defending Tiger, it's saying, it's none of our freaking business..

Since you think Jesper was right. He was "AWARE" that Tiger had a "girlfriend"  prior to introducing Tiger to poor ole Nanny!!

So she knew what she was getting herself into, she was just tired of changing diapers for free.. Now she's set for the rest of her and her new boyfriend's life and she can hire her own nanny to change diapers now..

Who freaking cares about Tiger or the Nanny let her handle it.....
