Tiger's image still at rock bottom, survey shows

Another year, another black eye for Tiger Woods in the boxing ring of public opinion.

As first reported by CNBC, the former world No. 1's so-called Q Rating, a measure of popularity with fans and the public, continues to rank among the lowest of the low for professional athletes.

In fact, the company that does the research, often used by firms before signing athletes to endorsement deals, said Woods' polling figures haven't moved a single percentage since similar data was conducted at this time last year.

Said the report: "Tiger Woods hasn't won since November 2009, just weeks before details of his infidelity led to his unraveling. Late last summer, 16 percent of people thought of Woods positively, according to the Q Scores, while an astounding 50 percent of people thought of him negatively. [Researchers] noted that, since he hasn’t won, Tiger’s Q Score has gone virtually unchanged."

In other words, at this point, the public still isn't buying what Tiger is selling. Not that he has been signed to sell anything, really.

The report continued: "[Quarterback] Michael Vick, who had the highest negative score of any athlete at 61 percent of the population, now has a 49 percent negative score, which ties Woods for the worst negative score among athletes. Vick became the Philadelphia Eagles starter, showed some flash on the field and didn’t make any major mistakes off of it."

Not surprisingly, given the general public distain, Woods has yet to sign a single endoresment deal if the aftermath of his sex scandal or career-worst winless drought.

I find that people like yourself that spit out such venom about another person usually

lack substance in their own lives. I picture you an angry bitter guy sitting at your computer

ripping anyone and everyone. Get a life and stop tearing everyone else down. What a putz!

"honkers" you are the worst kind of loser dirtbag that will get all that you wish on others. That much is for sure. More then likely you have already hit bottom and that explains the bitterness and anger that you have. You deserve it all from what it sounds like. Enjoy, as you have earned it all. Tool.

you can't fix being a dirtbag.  Tiger will never be the same golfer he was when he was jacked up on steroids.  Why do you think he had 20+ girls on the side?  Because after they saw how shriveled up his wanker was, they decided they wasted their time.  Tiger is a narcissistic, egomaniacal dirtbag.  I wish him the worst.  That is all.

"So what can Tiger do to fix his image?"

Win. That's the only way out for him. If he wins, no one cares about the rest.

It's disdain, not distain.  Go back to school.  You are an embarrassment to your profession.

Einstein said that the definition of insanity is Bruce Lietzke using the same golf swing and expecting different results.

I sometimes wonder what Bruce Lietzke's Q level is.
