Like it's not hot enough in Atlanta already?

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -- Under a tree today at Atlanta Athletic Club, Mark Steinberg and Steve Williams had a lengthy discussion about, gee, we can't possibly imagine.

Here's a photo from Atlanta television station WSB-TV.

Steinberg, the agent for Tiger Woods, is the one on the left with his hands on his hips. Williams, Woods' longtime and embittered former caddie, has his arms crossed on the right.

Write your own photo caption. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall for this meeting, which a WSB reporter said lasted between 15-20 minutes.

Steinberg's body language does not look relaxed and it doesn't look like he's even looking directly at Williams.  Love to know who initiated the conversation.  If it was Williams it seems particularly gutless to talk to the agent instead of Tiger.  Then again, maybe Steinberg looks isn't looking at Williams at Tiger's behest and Williams is listening with arms folded and glee in his heart as Steinberg squirms while doing the dirty task Tiger directed him to do.  Steinberg just left IMG and went on his own so he's got mouths to feed.  Desperate people do desperate things.  Just sayin' . . . .

Steiny reminding Stevie of the non-disclosure clause he signed in his contract.  There will be no "special" chapter about Tiger in Stevie's book.  But after all, what is he going to tell us that we don't already know.

I think everyone is missing the point about Stevie--Did you hear all the fans chanting his name as Scott and he walked down the 18th? Stevie was loving it and then he opened his big mouth and stuck his foot in it.  He stole the spotlight from Adam Scott, but it was the fans that got it all started with their bullshit chants for a caddie.....

I fault CBS for poor judgement when they decided to give Steve Williams air time. I guess there has been a decision to introduce a tabloid gossip laden format to golf. Steve was not the story of the tournament but you did your best to make it so. His credentials as a caddie were burnished by the wins that Tiger racked up.......and when Tiger was dominating the tour the argument could be made that it really wouldn't have mattered who was on the bag. Despite, all this Stevie could have taken the high road and he chose not to.

Maybe Stevie called him and asked about representation. You know, since he's a TMZ celebrity caddie now.

He's a caddie. He shouldn't get this much air time. Williams needs to keep his piehole shut and just carry the bag.

CBS should call a penalty on itself!!!

I fault CBS for poor judgement when they decided to give Steve Williams air time. I guess there has been a decision to introduce a tabloid gossip laden format to golf. One more stunt like that will not only lose me but countless other golfers who are tuning in to watch a game that we love. Steve was not the story of the tournament but you did your best to make it so. His credentials as a caddie were burnished by the wins that Tiger racked up.......and when Tiger was dominating the tour the argument could be made that it really wouldn't have mattered who was on the bag. Always ask yourself what would Frank Chirkinian do......and let that be your guide.
