Tiger Woods had his usual timid press conference on Wednesday at PGA National, and while it had the bland answers Woods usually gives reporters, it did have a surprise moment when Tiger lost his cool.

Asked by Alex Miceli about the recent excerpts from Hank Haney's tell-all book about Woods, Tiger said he wasn't going to answer anymore questions and actually broke his cool for a moment. The video is below, so watch it for yourself, but you can obviously tell Tiger isn't a big fan of this upcoming book and might even hate questions about the book more.

The dude cheated on his wife and that is like - wrong.  Against all odds now people for sure.  Dude is like a twink, would never be able to be a Navy SEAL.  A great golfer that could carry The Bear's bag.  He let his wife, his kids, his mother and his father DOWN.  Let them down and led them down into a dark path....of some seedy sex thing.  That is about as bad as Sandusky dealing with kids.....a very linkable level.  Think about it.  The guy had it all and treated his workers like crap and now they get to tell their side of the deal and the boy wants to whine about it......grow up Tiger....maybe the Tiger's gone and not coming back or maybe there are other secrets that the public does not know about yet.  BUT HEY NOBODY IS PERFECT....NOT ME NOT YOU NOT GOD.

Haney already made tons of money coaching Tiger, and tons more living off the reputation as "Tiger's coach."  That wasn't enough for him, as he has attached himself to Tiger's legend like a remora to a shark's belly.  Haney is a piece of garbage for putting this book out.  He violated confidentiality, and I don't understand why any serious player would ever want to take as much as one driving range lesson from Haney.

To any good teacher, students are human beings who are to be treated with respect and dignity.  To Hank Haney, his students are simply resources that are to be monetized to the fullest extent.

As for Tiger, he taught the pathetic Alex Miceli a lesson he'll never understand: media members have the right to ask any banal, soap-opera question they want, but athletes are under absolutely no obligation to answer them.

I'm certaily no Tiger apologist, but Haney is pathetic - he must have real money issues if he has to write a "tell-all" book about Tiger...What's wrong Hank, they didn't pay you enough for your ridiculous TV show? I remember the days when you made money the old-fashioned way - by actually working...

What Blackhouse said bears repeating:

"Woods is the most pampered and sheltered athelete I have ever seen in my 44 years on the planet."

No one else even comes close.  He's been treated with kid gloves his entire career.  Open up the dictionary to "groveling" and you'll find a picture of the golf media.

Get a clue Pointshavers. Hank Haney is NOT a caddie he is an instructor who worked on Tiger's swing. You are a bafoon and its mighty mature of you to cheer for failure. Regardless of your opinion he is the greatest golfer in the last 20 years bar none.

...This is a re-post of my earlier comment on a different thread. It may be of interest to those whom are avid readers. There is a story on msnbc now that The Navy denies he trained with anyone...as if they had to post a disclaimer, HA.

"Tiger was seriously considering becoming a Navy SEAL. I didn't know how he'd go about it, but when he talked about it, it was clear he had a plan....I thought, Wow, here is Tiger Woods, greatest athlete on the planet, maybe the greatest athlete ever, right in the middle of his prime, basically ready to leave it all behind for a military life."

...For those who have no clue, & maybe Woods is incuded, have a good read or two...I will highly, and I do mean definitely highly, recommend Lone Survivor, SEAL Team Six, SEAL of Honor, or SEAL Target Geronimo. I've a nephew that is nearing retirement from USSOCOM and all but the latter are quite accurate accounts of many very detailed & historically monumental Special Ops by the SEALS, Rangers, QRF's, and various other CMH winners and assorted quintisential, world class BADA$$ES. They include Blackhawk Down, Operation Red Wings & others. The book on KIA Geronimo (Bin Laden) is not verifyable from a historical perspective as such, but may only be an interperetation of the mission so the author could exploit his SEAL background financially. USSOCOM emphatically denies his account. But clearly, make no mistake, all Special Ops are for only those born to be the absolute best of the best, and I'm not sure if golf could quite live up to the SEAL criteria...HOOYAH!!!

I love tiger struggling and I will continue to love it for as long as he goes out on the course and fails to win; over and over again.

He is still making millions and millions of dollars even if he isnt playing good or if he doesnt win another game, so like Charlie says he is WINNING. Half of the golfers out there in the world would love to have his game even now while he is shooting bad.

I cant believe that this caddy would even get hired again by anyone after doing a tell all book of the last guy he worked for, because if he did it once he will do it again, he should be working at a putt putt course or driving range at best. I just cant believe the greed in people now adays its just shamefully.

The next reporter asked Tiger a different question. "Tiger, when did you give up your dream of being a Navy Seal and pursue golf as your career?" A grinning Tiger sheepishly replied; "That's personal!" The reporter; "AW Come On."  Tiger; "Okay, Okay, if you must know, after viewing the movie Full Metal Jacket, I felt it best to go to the driving range than the shooting range." Reporter: "Do you have any regrets on your decision?" Tiger; "Well; I should have used another cell phone when I was doing the ladies, but that's about it." Reporter; "No,NO. I was talking about your career choice, not your bumbling attempt at being a serial cheater." Tiger then shrugs his shoulder and defiantly says; "Hell, I could have been a great SEAL if I didn't have to take orders and jump out of a plane. Now; leave me the hell alone."
