Tiger Woods had his usual timid press conference on Wednesday at PGA National, and while it had the bland answers Woods usually gives reporters, it did have a surprise moment when Tiger lost his cool.

Asked by Alex Miceli about the recent excerpts from Hank Haney's tell-all book about Woods, Tiger said he wasn't going to answer anymore questions and actually broke his cool for a moment. The video is below, so watch it for yourself, but you can obviously tell Tiger isn't a big fan of this upcoming book and might even hate questions about the book more.

Why is this a story? Tiger is no longer relevant. Maybe it was a story when he was out banging other broads while his wife was at home having kids, but not anymore. Close the book Tiger, you're done.

He deserves everything he gets.  He's just not a good human being, and since he's not a good golfer anymore and he knows it, he can't even act maturely.  He has to have the absolute worst PR people in the world because nothing he does or says endears himself to the fans.  Fact is, no one in golf is scared of Tiger....except Tiger himself.

Regardless of what you think about the book, or the fact that reporters are asking questions about the book, right or wrong, Tiger acts like an immature baby.  Just say, "You know what guys, I'm not going to answer any questions regarding the book."  Don't throw a temper tantrum at your press conference.  You'd think from the PR this guy got during his divorce and scandal that he'd figure out a more political way of handling things.

We see a lot of books being written about subjects that attract readership. I don't buy books or go to movies that are hyped. Tiger is a private person, much like a lot of great stars, and will only trust less and less the interviewers. So it would be a nice gesture if these reporters & book authors stick with respecting people rights. Just because someone is in the limelight does not give people the right to transgress our rights to be private. I wish everyone a great life full of happiness & health. Laughing

Yeah, many books are written for self promotion. What's the problem?
That it's a selfless act, that it's low-class, a low-blow, a real b**** move, it's bs, it's wrong, and lastly it's parasitic like...
ALL that being said the worst part of all... we're talking about it on a sports forum w/ so much other GREAT stuff to talk about.

(Sigh...) wonder if any friends have told Tiger... Dude, go sex it up!

I think it is incredibly naive for people to think that Hank Haney shouldn't have an opinion on Tiger Woods.  He spent many years with Tiger and the two of them made a dominant team while they were together.   Should Tiger have to answer questions about Haney's new book?  Absolutely not!  Tiger shouldn't engage in answering questions about what his former swing coach said or thought about their time together.  Haney's book will be popular because people are always going to be interested in the day to day happenings of star athletes.  Shaq wrote a book and mentioned many names.  Canseco wrote a book and mentioned many names.  If you don't like Haney writing the book, don't support him by buying it.

Tiger Woods is a golfer. What he does off of the golf course is not my concern. What he does on the golf course is all anyone should care about. And since he doesn't do much on the golf course over the last 3 years, he's a nobody, a has-been, a used-to-be.
