It was his best final round ever and maybe the best round Tiger Woods has ever played when he actually needed to go low, so why not enjoy it once more with the brilliance of Internet TV?

The video below is all the good shots Tiger hit on Sunday on his charge up the leaderboard in hopes of taking down Rory McIlroy. Enjoy the fist-pumps!

Doesn't this tournament resemble the movie Tin Cup?  What will people remember?  Rory winning the tournament and becoming #1 in the world, or Tiger's round?  I know I'll remember the 62.  Cool

Are you comparing rory's 2 shot win at the honda to Secretariat or Bolt in the triple crown and olympics?

Or even Rory to either of them?

Green, I heard the PGA was going to a scoring system where judges rate players on a 1 to 10 scale for "best golf playing."  Steve Elling, Kelly Tilghman, Mark Steinberg and Phil Knight will be the judges.  This will "take the luck factor out of the game," said Tim Finchem.

"I didn't have a chance to play with Tiger Woods in the early to mid-2000s when he was the man but Rory is the best." Who is this guy called McDowell? I think this brits and irish support each other to death. Maybe he is day dreaming like those guys who are trying to instill in us that there is a new kind of "wonderkid" . Let the stats speak for themselves.

Nike Golf has just announced that it is launching their new Nike Avis Wood brand. It's for players who were once champions and who now consider finishing second an accomplishment! Nike also posted they are considering sponsoring a golf tour that doesn't keep any scores like 8 year old soccer league were all their Nike sponsored players will tie for first and get pretty "participant" travel mugs.

Great post, Shane!

If you have time, maybe you can follow up with video spotlighting the horses that finished second to Secretariat.  The sprinters who finished second to Usain Bolt.

what's scary is he lost the tourney by 2 strokes. 2 wayward putts and it's a tie. amazing for a guy that many think is washed up is right where he wants to be. can't imagine his score if not for the 71 when he was 7 back from the leaders.

Tiger Woods' entire round of 62

Go Tiger!! It was long overdue.
I am expecting huge things from you Tiger. Golf is lifeless without TWs playing a golf as exciting as this one.

Thanks.  I can't wait for the forthcoming "Tiger is sooooooo irrelevant" posts.  Tiger actually said he is "excited" about his game.  That should scare a lot of tour players and infuriate his haters.  I like his new swing.  It looks like he is finally realizing that he needed to swing with more slow-twitch muscles.  Fast-twitch works fine when you are young, but not so well as a person ages.  Tiger isn't ever going to swing the club with as little apparent effort as Freddie, Ernie, or Lefty, but this is a great "compromise" that will add years to his career.

Better yet, despite his slower swing, his driving average was slightly over 300 yards after Saturday's round.  The 338-yard drive on 18 certainly helped.  His putting was "back," and that is even more scary.   I thought it might take as long as the US Open for Tiger to make it all the way "back;" it is starting to look like it will happen a lot sooner, possibly as early as this week.
