Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

The Football Writers Association of America just released its Super 16 for 2008.

Also, why is this rules stuff news in August? The horse-collar rule was passed in April. The story says, "Other changes announced Wednesday ..." I thought it was strange that this was a national wire story. This rule is probably the least controversial of those passed. If you've been reading the site or this blog you know how I feel about the new timing rules.

Watch for the officials to crack down big time on celebrations this season too. Self-expression is dead.

Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

CBS must be surprised that Tebow wasnt the number 1 ranked team in the country.  Yeah thats right, not Florida, but Tebow.

Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

USC is rated 2nd with USA Today, Caoches and ESPN polls.  They are number 1 at Rivals.  So, I am not so sure the 'WOW' is deserved.  They are probably doing it just for the press.

I agree wtih  who voted Auburn #1.

Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

Shouldn't be a huge surprise, they are loaded this year.  Just hope USC doesn't get caught looking ahead to OSU when they play at Virginia to open the season!  Can you say upset!  Has the makings for one!

Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

Well I think the bigger question is who voted Auburn #1. I was a little curious about that myself..........

Well I think the bigger question is who voted Auburn #1. Seriously, Auburn is a good team, behind Sen'Derrick Marks, Brad Lester, Lee Ziemba, and co., but I have them at 10-2 with a loss in the SEC title game, and that is being positive. As for the rest of the poll, looks ok, not much different then any other poll.

Wow, wait until you see who is No. 1!

I can't wait for the season to get started!  The Big 12 seems packed, I just hope they live up to the preseason hype.  The Sooners just can't lose another BCS game.  I am fired up and I hope we get to see MU in the Big 12 title game again and do some more Chase beat down.
