Sarah Palin (and her running mate) just lost my vote.

Palin was in St. Louis Friday night to drop the ceremonial puck in the St. Louis Blues-L.A. Kings game. Blues goalie Manny Legace slipped on the carpet that was left on the ice for her and apparently tweaked his hip. Legace has had knee problems in the past. Who knows what this is going to mean to an already struggling franchise

Nice job, Sarah.

Smokingguns, you are right on!!!  I'm not a Republican, but I've seen a lot of pathological liars in my professional life as a clinical therapist, and Obama can look you in the eye and lie to you without batting an eye!  Socialism here we come, if he wins.  By the way Dodd, Palin has more "good" experience than Obama.

Um the Blues invite Palin to drop the puck. Rollout a carpet for her as is usually the custom at these pre game ceremonies. They don't get the carpet out of the way before the players take the ice and somehow it is Palin's fault? Sorry every hockey game i have gone to having these festivities the carpet is removed before the players take the ice. The Blues dropped the puck on this one.

Dodd my man, I usually like your stuff... but this is just stupid. If it had been Joe Biden, would you have said the same thing? Manny is a big boy and he needs to watch where he is going. As for the Blues, Mason will do fine and now we get to see what 6'7" Ben Bishop is really gonna do between the pipes.
The Blues are scoring goals like crazy so I am not worried at all.

What if Biden was there to drop the puck, you moron. You would blame the guy who's fault it really is. The guy who was lazy to bend over and and fix the carpet correctly.

At leas sarah knows what hockey is. I don't know if anyone else heard this but Obama changed who his favorite baseball team was a week ago all because he went out to throw the first pitch.

Palin going to an NHL game is great. The sport needs the national attention. If Biden, Obama or McCain could show up to a game it would also be great. The politics aside (I can find fault with any of the bunch) the NHL needs some airtime. It is too bad that Manny got hurt but freak accidents happen.

Sarcasm is the tool of the weak, Moneybags. Dodd is a no-talent hack who resorts to petty ad hominem jabs in his "articles." This may have been a lame attempt at a joke, but we all know the desired effect was to stir the pot and rile people up.
