Condoleezza Rice's job prospects might suddenly have gotten brighter. Not only is she interested in becoming the next Pac-10 commissioner, there might be another, bigger opening soon.

With NCAA president Myles Brand fighting pancreatic cancer, it's logical to think that Rice would be a prime candidate to replace Brand if he ever steps down. If Rice can manage world affairs, she certainly can oversee 1,000 NCAA schools. Well, that is, unless Bobby Knight gets back into coaching.

Just thought of something else: Rummy as enforcement director?

I am happy to do without Condy in future, in any capacity.  Of course, in 2.5 years, we'll start hearing about her as the GOP candidate for president.  Wasilla Alaska will be returned to Russia by then.

I don't see that she's got any qualifications for ANY sports-related positions.  I am going to enjoy the next 2 years, at least.  I hope its longer than that.

Wow...nothing more frightening than the lunatic fringe amped up on ignorance and fueled by hate.  "War Criminal"?  I'd be totally embarrassed to type such fuzzy thinking...even without the multitude of syntax errors, misspellings, and convolutions of grammer.  Conde would be better than 99.95% of any applicants...for about ANY job.

Yeah, okay. So much for intelligence. If there was one thing Bush did right during his administration, it was keep the world safe. There's not an intelligent soul on the planet that can try to argue that he didn't.

And to whoever said Bush's War Crimes may be taken to court, I pity you. If stopping a man, who clearly stated that he had WMDs, from hurting his own people is a crime, then this country has some issues. The war in Iraq is far more just than any close-minded Democrat will tell you. I bet you also think the war was about oil. Where's the oil then? I'm still paying $2.50 a gallon for gas.

Ignorance. It's a shame that it plagues our country.

Sportsdevl To watch a news program aren't you usually sitting on your butt? I don't know how you do it in the Land of Enchantment but I am usually on my butt when watching the news or reading the newspaper.

By the looks of all of Obama's non tax paying cheats up for cabinet positions this administration is corrupt as well. The Who summed it up best "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".
