More off-field troubles at Florida

Redshirt freshman Gary Brown becomes the 27th arrest/citing/incident report of the Urban Meyer era.

This one is especially troubling because it allegedly involves slapping a woman.

It's a great time to be taking a leave of absence.

Randy Shannon will never win a National Championship at Miami, and get used to weeping like a woman as Florida, Alabama and other SEC teams continue to win National Championships.

Ooooooo! A whole half. What a HUGE difference. And Meyer DIDN'T change the suspension to a whole game......Spikes did, so get YOUR facts straight. Spikes requested to serve a full game. It's pretty sad when someone who tries to permanently maim someone on the football field has more of a moral compass than your head coach. I guess even Brandon Spikes realized what a joke of a punishment that would've been and would've done nothing for him in terms of putting the incident to rest.
And not that this thread has anything to with the Champs Sports Bowl, but that was a tough one to swallow. I walked around after the game inconsolably crying like woman who just got dumped.......but I guess that's OK according to most Gator fans because it shows that I have a lot of heart and passion and that I'm just a really good guy................ I was just really really proud of Wisconsin.

Once again, you don't have your facts straight.  Spikes was originally suspended for a half for the inappropriate eye gouge incident, and then Meyer changed the suspension to an entire game.  I'd still take Urban Meyer over Randy Shannon.  Shannon is the joke, not Meyer.  BTW, how did the Champs Sports Bowl work out this year?  LMAO ROTFF!!!

You're the one who doesn't have a clue my friend. Nearly 30 arrests under Urban Meyer and you almost sound proud that a DT who hasn't even played a down of football for the Gators gets thrown off the team. Meyer is a joke. He's the kind of idiot who would suspend a guy for only ONE quarter for gouging at someone's eyes...wait a minute, that actually happened.

Get your facts straight.  You make it sound like Meyer has not thrown anyone off the team, and that's not true.  You don't have a clue.

What do all you Gator haters have to say now that Gary Brown has been dismissed from the UF football program???That it took for Urban Meyer to be on his leave of absence for such a drastic measure to be taken.....otherwise the kid would've been suspended for the 'Star Bangled Banner' during their home opener.

Hurricane Alum, it was tongue in cheek! and, by the way, i am an alum as is my father...who both donate 5 figures to the football & general scholarship programs annually, so yeah...i think we are EXACTLY the type of canes fans that miami needs!

Well smart guy. Dodd is just making a story here. Most of those arrests have come from Ron Zook recruits not Urbans. I think that is number 4 or 5 from Urbans 5 years of recruiting now. The canes fan is trying to talk crap...really? Irvin,Lewis....I can all day thug nation.
