Apparently, Seantrel Henderson is OK with USC's NCAA future.

The father of the nation's No. 1 prep recurit told me on Monday that his son will sign a letter of intent with USC on Thursday. Seantrel Henderson committed to USC on signing day (on CBS College Sports). On the same day his dad Sean said his son was concerned about possible penalties USC would receive from the NCAA.

USC appeared before the NCAA infractions committee Feb. 19-21. The aftermath wasn't good, as stacks of files were wheeled out of the conference room in Tempe, Ariz. Plus, the hearing lasted all three days, a bad indicator according to experts.

Henderson may know otherwise. The big tackle is expected to anchor the USC offensive line, possibly as a freshman.

USA Today reported Monday that Henderson had received his ACT scores recently and was academically eligible.

Seantrel Henderson to sign with USC

Sure, it would have been nice if he'd signed with the Irish, but I'll survive because of one thing.  Players come and players go, but Our Lady is Our Lady and always will be. And as long as there is a Notre Dame, then God's in his heaven and the world, as Mr. Steinbeck said, will be spinning in greased grooves. GO IRISH!!!

I no longer support Cretin, Seantrell is a sellout and will either be the #1 pick in the draft he chooses or prison.

And if he were to sign with the Giants and be a standout you'd be in love with the guy. What a frkn hypocrite.

I love it, Rap, smoke chronic, not attend class...LMAO! Does anyone really believe he will get an education at USC, he passed that up when turning down ND.  I no longer support Cretin, Seantrell is a sellout and will either be the #1 pick in the draft he chooses or prison.  Should be fun to see what he does.

This is a good thing for the young man and for USC.  As an offensive lineman he could have done no better.  He will not only have an education, be an all-american, and have fun, he will be an NFL millionare and an all-pro for many years to come.  Well done! and by the way USC will most likely win several national championships.  God is good!

Not an SC fan, but that is the most ridiculus post ever. Especially coming from a Seminole.

I would like to have seen Henderson sign with Ohio St.  But the more I learn about his self-serving old man, the more I think OSU will be better off without him.  Too bad Tressel wasted a scholarship by holding a spot open for Henderson, but some worthy walk-on will be rewarded for his hard work.  Best of luck to Seantrel in LA.  The way the NCAA moves, Henderson may already have moved on to the NFL by the time any sanctions might hit USC.

Wow. A fan of Free Shoes University wants to say that USC is everything that is wrong with amateur athletics. Too funny. Besides, what's wrong with Beenie Weenies?
