End of the line for Ryan Perrilloux?

Posted on: February 18, 2008 9:16 pm

As a three-time "loser", Ryan Perrilloux is running out of chances at LSU.

The talented LSU quarterback's third career suspension came down Monday from coach Les Miles. The announcement contained no specifics but apparently it is the result of a bunch of little stuff like being late for meetings, classes etc. Except that Perrilloux has exactly no equity built up with Miles. The three suspensions have been for different and troubling reasons

Combine that with the fact that Perrilloux arguably saved LSU's season with effective backup work and his do-or-die start in the SEC championship game. This was going to be his team in 2008. Miles has little behind him on the depth chart but it is clear the coach has little patience. I scraped up this two-day old blog
if you really want to get into rumor mongering.

Bottom line: Don't be surrpised if Crazy Les boots even crazier Ryan. How do you screw up such a great situation? From quarterback of the defending national champions to looking for a school to transfer to.

End of the line for Ryan Perrilloux?

Kentuck needs a whole lot more than a quarterback, but that's irrelevant.  Perriloux will not be kicked off the team.  Many worse things have happened.  If a student misses classes or maybe a meeting, nothing happens.  I know they are in the spotlight and garner attention so they have a responsibilty to represent their school in a responsible manner, but come on he hasn't stolen, he isn't cheating, he didn't commit murder or anything of that nature.  the only reason this is a big deal all of a sudden is because LSU is the National Champs.  What about tennessee having something like 10 players arrested since the end of last year.  Nobody wants to talk about that they want to talk about a kid who skipped classes.  I'm sure nobody here has ever skipped a class

End of the line for Ryan Perrilloux?

This guy has so much talent and no brains! What a classic story of a kid who was too stupid to see what an opportunity he has in his face and a chance for a really bright future! Someone kick their boot all the way up his ass! I am sooo tired of these idiots waiting talent when people with lots of character wait for opportunities and end up as back ups all the time. Dump the stupid biatch and let Michigan have him!

Go rebs!

End of the line for Ryan Perrilloux?

hey dodd, remember that time when i posted a comment on one of your stories...where you said "no one in the big ten finished in the rival top 10" even though OSU finished 5 so I called you out.  Remember than?  Remember when you had it removed?

That was classy, and makes you more of a professional.

I also love how you have to repost your stories 3 and 4 times because there are so many errors after the first publish.  That is also classy and professional.

If Perriloux doesnt play who does LSU have at quarterback. That will be one of the bigger question marks in the SEC.

Yeah, shucks come on over, I mean, you can be something just short of murderer and play football.    Send this dude packing and tell him you don't want to see his face again!   It's about time these thugs who think they can do anything and still play,  took responsibility for their own actions.    &nb
sp; My football team would most certainly have much more pride than that , to take anything that could play, I mean, how can you actually take someone like that?     You have rules, and if you can't grow up and act like an adult, then get out!     Kids?, please give me a break, you don't just continue to break the rules and still have that cake and eat it too!     Oh, the poor little boy, must obey some stupid rules, why shucks, that's only for those who can't play!     Sent him packing, let him play with Podunk U.

you're absolutely right playmake21!!!  Then he can have a long and illustrious career like the last guy who tried to do that-Adrian McPhearson!  Bottom line is his future is in his own hands-top NFL pick or follow McPhearson to the Arena League.
