Did he really just make that? That's one of those freak things, I guess. What's the percentage on a shot like that? Like 1 in 100? Any other night that shot gets missed, the game goes to OT, and the home team escapes because the road team doesn't have the gas in front of their foe's crowd. But what makes college basketball so darn great is 1) that can happen and 2) it won't really hurt Syracuse if it's isolated, and really WILL help Cleveland State if they wind up on the bubble.

Did he really just make that?Duke Fan is right, this isn't your normal mid-major. Still the loss for the 'Cuse hurts. I thought coming into tonight they'd get a bit of a test, but nothing like this. Hopefully they can rebound against Canisius at home before they face Memphis on the road.

Did he really just make that? The Jackson Awesome ending and shot!! The Orange should have had Devondork standing in front of him and then the guy would have been scared thinking he was going to hit him in the face (just kidding...a little 'Cuse Humor). Anyway, great ending to a good game to watch. A lot more entertaining then watching 10 minutes of North Carolina and getting bored because they are already up by 30 and realizing they are going to probably win it all....

Did he really just make that? What an amazing shot! As bad as this loss looks on paper for Syracuse, it really isn't all that bad. Sure Cleveland State is a small school and the game was played at the Carrier Dome, but this is no ordinary mid-major. They were picked to win the Horizon League for a reason, a league that may get two teams in the NCAA Tournament this year, Cleveland State and Butler. Anyway, what a way for a mid-major to beat a traditional powerhouse the road. |
