Wayne Chism's CAT scan came back negative and the Tennessee forward is considered day-to-day after a scary fall in Monday night's win over Louisiana-Lafayette, multiple sources told CBSSports.com.

Chism landed on his back after blocking a shot with 5:12 remaining in the game. The 6-foot-9 junior was strapped to a board, placed in a neck brace and removed from the court on a stretcher, but he maintained feeling in his arms and legs, and because the CAT scan showed no problems he could be available for Saturday's game at Kansas.

Chism's CAT scan negative; could play vs. Kansas

Great News!!!  I was watching the stream of this at UTSports.com and it looked pretty painful.  Chism went up pretty high to block a shot and as he was coming down he got turned around and never did get his feet under him.  He landed right on his tailbone/lowerback and then his head whipped down and struck the floor.  He landed almost on top of what appeared to be a ball-boy, at first I thought they were both hurt, but I think the ball-boy was just scared.  Here's to a speedy recovery for Wayne.
