This will be a hostile environment for Duke

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- I know Texas believes it's at a disadvantage playing Duke in Greensboro. But I think the opposite will be true because the Greensboro Coliseum is filled with North Carolina fans, and if the Tar Heels beat LSU those fans will almost certainly hang around to cheer against Duke, meaning about 85 percent of this building should be booing Mike Krzyzewski.

Advantage: Texas.

Although the Longhorns still have that point guard problem to address.

This will be a hostile environment for Duke

I'm too lazy to look it up, but perhaps someone else will.  Here's my question, how often has some place in NC been selected as a site for 1st and 2nd round games?  I'm probably wrong, but it seems like there are games in NC virtually every year.

If that is, in fact, the case, why are sites in that particular state consistently picked?  It's not like North Carolina is the only state that has arenas where basketball games can be held.

I realize many will say it's because the NCAA favors UNC and Duke (or maybe the ACC in general).  Maybe that's true, maybe it's not, but that's not what I'm looking for.  I talking about what is the "official" reason(s) given by the NCAA.

Dude, learn to use some punctuation. Few people can pull off stream of consciousness well, and sir, you're no James Joyce.

Gary Parrish, It's this moronic opinion that keeps you from working for ESPN.  Duke and UNC Play at home every single year regardless of their seed and the midwestern teams, especially the big 12 always get FUCKED!

Hostile..my butt... I'm watching the game & hearing alot of Dukies cheering... yes theres a sea of Unc "blue" in stands which brings up another point---Fair Tourney-??  Why does Unc & Duke seem to play 2 "home" games nearly every year??? Is it the $$4 factor ??   Not Right---Not even the #1 One seeds --get "home" games... Big difference.. No one should play in their State let alone one of their facilities... Others Do NOT get this ---  they have their Fans.. their familiarity, The local ACC refs & Big advantage in Tourney --Not right...(like the BS call V. Texas with 47 seconds left).. Notice the #2-3-4 & 5 teams from Acc don't play  home & POOF--They're gone---  brings to another point you ACC lovers ---  Tell me how tough that Acc is --& "better than BEAST ---HA-HA ------Save it !!!!...  When questioned about this --Clark Kellog said on TV---Its not about leagues --Its match-ups -  & those teams GOT "tough teams in first round" to play---Like the Other teams who won first round games played High Schools--  BS......Get real ClARK  !!!!!
