Liberty coach Ritchie McKay said Sunday that freshman Seth Curry is transferring to Duke.

"I received a call from Seth today and he told me he decided on transferring to Duke," said Liberty coach Ritchie McKay. "My immediate reaction was what a great opportunity for Seth. Duke is a program rich in tradition with not only one of the greatest head coaches of all time, but an impressive staff, as well. I am excited that Seth will be able to fulfill his desires at a place as prestigious and successful as Duke."

Curry, the younger brother of Davidson star Stephen Curry, averaged 20.2 points per game this season

He'll be eligible at Duke for the 2010-2011 season.

Seth Curry to enroll at Duke

seth curry is good and will help duke down the road but they need big man in the post ready to play. zoubek, thomas arent the answer esp when they have cold shooting night like the one they had against 'nova. if you look at duke glory years they always had big man dominating inside ie boozer, williams. he will be fun to watch but duke needs the big man and a fast guard like lawson more than anythang.

Seth Curry to enroll at Duke

I find it sad that he decided to go to an ACC team, everyone can see that many other confrences are starting to become power houses. The ACC is no longer the best, i think what the Big East has done this year shows that the tough play of the Big East makes them the number one conference in college basketball.

Don't get me wrong Duke is still a great school but i think everyone is starting to realize there are alot of other options out there that can lead to better success that are in other conferences besides the ACC
