Jon Roser -- a radio producer in Memphis who cannot sing -- got a karaoke machine and a back-up singer (Mark McCleskey) and recorded a song inspired by the allegations of NCAA rules violations at Memphis. Naturally, it's called "Johnny Calipari." Everybody except Kentucky fans will probably get a chuckle out of it. But remember, this dude is a terrible singer (even if he is quite funny).

Click this link to check it out.

It's best described as an alternative version of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California."

I just busted out laughing in the middle of an office you could hear a pin drop in....

Just remember:
In 1994, the Boston Globe quoted an AAU official in Connecticut as saying, ‘Another coach says to a kid - If you qualify, we want you. - Calipari says - If you qualify, we want you.  If you don’t, we still want you.’”

How exactly did Calipari leave Memphis in good shape? First it was taking most of the recruits that had originally signed with Memphis to Kentucky. Ask yourself how you would have felt about Howland if he had pulled that on Dixon. And now there is the dark cloud of NCAA violations hanging over the program. Please explain yourself.....how do you view this as leaving Memphis "in good shape"? any success the Tigers have next year should be directly attributed to Josh Pastner and Josh Pastner alone. He has turned lemons into lemonade by signing Will Coleman and 5 star Latavious Williams despite every disadvantage.

The song is funny but all the info seems to say Rose was acting on his own with people he knew pre Memphis. I don't think Memphis should have any issues with Calipari he brought them up about 3 levels during his time there, now can they sustain it. I will always be glad that Ben Howland put Pitt back on the map, I am not mad he took a better job, he much like Calipari left us in good shape.
