AKRON, Ohio -- You want to see video of Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunking on LeBron James?

If so, too bad.

Because you're not going to see it.

Thanks to Nike.

Turns out, there were at least two cameras rolling Monday night when Crawford dunked on James during a pick-up game here at the LeBron James Skills Academy. It was a two-handed jam, the kind that would've circulated quickly on YouTube. But Nike officials eliminated that possibility shortly after the dunk happened by allegedly confiscating tapes from various cameramen.

Freelance photographer Ryan Miller was one of the cameramen shooting the game.

He told CBSSports.com that Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt took his tape.

"He just said, 'We have to take your tape,'" Miller said. "They took it from other guys, too."

Worth noting is that there is no policy against filming at the LeBron James Skills Academy, and Miller said he had been filming all day without incident. Nobody ever told him to stop. Nobody ever said there was a problem ... until after Crawford dunked on James.

"LeBron called Lynn over and told him something," Miller said. "That's how I knew his name was Lynn. LeBron said, 'Hey, Lynn. Come here.'"

Minutes later, Miller said Merritt demanded his tape.

"There's nothing I can think of besides LeBron just not wanting it online," Miller said. "It's a good story to tell people, I guess. But then again, I'm kind of pissed. I lost my tape."

Lebron is no longer "The King".  He is "The Princess".  What a whiny little spoiled brat.

Boycott Nike until the release the tape

Sounds like the company has learned about restricting freedom of the press while working in China

Dont buy the shoes.  Dont buy the golf stuff (balls and clubs are crap anyway). Dont buy anything.

This is only an issue becaue LeBron (and Nike) made it an issue. If he had just laughed if off or congratuled the kid on a good move, it wouldnt have barely been noticed.  Does LeBron think that destroying the tape will make people forget about it.  It wasnt a big deal until LeBron made it a big deal. Yes, sure, he should go to New York and join all the others with inflated egos there.

They could effectively take away his livelyhood by banning him from future events involving Nike.

LeBron is a little biitch !  Who cares if you got dunked on ???  What's the big deal ?  I mean John Starks dunked all over Jordan a few times and it did not diminish Jordan the ball player's reputation.  Wait, Jordan had all of those titles to back him up.  All LeBron has is a poor sport's attitude, a good PR department, and bunch of lame ass commercials for someone who has accomplished ZERO.  What a piece of garbage.  I hope he trips on his wallet and hits his head !

The second Lebron does something wrong, the public loves to rip him.  What is in the psyche of someone who automatically likes to destroy everything about another's character, despite never even meeting him before?  Its shocking so many do this.  This thread is littered with coments from people getting on their high horse.  Its sad there are so many clones of Skip Bayless out there.
