AKRON, Ohio -- You want to see video of Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunking on LeBron James?

If so, too bad.

Because you're not going to see it.

Thanks to Nike.

Turns out, there were at least two cameras rolling Monday night when Crawford dunked on James during a pick-up game here at the LeBron James Skills Academy. It was a two-handed jam, the kind that would've circulated quickly on YouTube. But Nike officials eliminated that possibility shortly after the dunk happened by allegedly confiscating tapes from various cameramen.

Freelance photographer Ryan Miller was one of the cameramen shooting the game.

He told that Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt took his tape.

"He just said, 'We have to take your tape,'" Miller said. "They took it from other guys, too."

Worth noting is that there is no policy against filming at the LeBron James Skills Academy, and Miller said he had been filming all day without incident. Nobody ever told him to stop. Nobody ever said there was a problem ... until after Crawford dunked on James.

"LeBron called Lynn over and told him something," Miller said. "That's how I knew his name was Lynn. LeBron said, 'Hey, Lynn. Come here.'"

Minutes later, Miller said Merritt demanded his tape.

"There's nothing I can think of besides LeBron just not wanting it online," Miller said. "It's a good story to tell people, I guess. But then again, I'm kind of pissed. I lost my tape."

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

Why does Lebron even care?  He is the best player on the earth, let some kid have his moment in the sun.  I know for a fact he was dunkking all over everyone when he was in high school and he wanted the whole world to see every one.

For all you people that keep saying Jordan Crawford is a high school kid, stop it.  He is a transfer from Indiana, that will play at Xavier next year.   Know your stuff before posting.

Jordan isnt in high school he is a transfer from that indian team that eric gordon was on. he started every game for indian in the backcourt with gordan as a freshman and also was on the all big ten freshman team. Jordan will hands down be a first round pick when he comes out of college and is one of the top 5 pg's in the country right now! this is no surprise at all that he did that to lebron

Patrick Chewings dunk over Ryan in the Snickers commerical was probably better, but I would like too have see the tape on this one.

Ever since James started doing the chasedown blocks, he has become a "dunk on" target.   As someone said, Courtney Lee, got him twice in the Orlando series.    It's an ego thing for these guys, even though its really not a big deal, no one wants to get dunked on, especially if it will be all over the news.

I hope this means Xavier is the favorite to win college championship. Come on Lebron. You and O'Neal will make a perfect crybaby couple.

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

Another class act by LeBron James.  This is my reason why I do not see him winning a title anytime soon.  He is all about himself and his image and not his team.  He wants to be GLOBAL which means he is not focused on winning a CHAMPIONSHIP.  Yes, he is a great player but until he gets his head out of his butt and sees that he is not the only great player in the NBA the sooner he may start winning.  It is stil a team sport won by stars but give me a break.  LeBron needs to grow up and realize that this world does not revolve around him!

Also made props to Joe's lil Bro!
You guys are such homers that you actually take this guy who simply heard James call the guy over and this cameraman implying that James had the tapes removed.  You have no actual proof that LeBron said anything to "Lynn" about the tapes.  There are a lot of holes in this story, yet you go straight to "believing" what you want to "believe".  LeBron is one of the team friendly guys in the league.  You are showing your lack of basketball knowledge if you think LBJ is all about himself and not the team.  If anything is his downfall, it is most likely that he is TOO much of a team player.

Secondly - in pick up games like this do you really think LeBron is going to not get dunked on?  He isn't going to foul the other guys and every kid out there wants to dunk on him.  You guys really need to move on and quit obsessing over this.  If anything, it makes more sense for Nike to remove the tapes than it ever would for LeBron.
