AKRON, Ohio -- You want to see video of Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunking on LeBron James?

If so, too bad.

Because you're not going to see it.

Thanks to Nike.

Turns out, there were at least two cameras rolling Monday night when Crawford dunked on James during a pick-up game here at the LeBron James Skills Academy. It was a two-handed jam, the kind that would've circulated quickly on YouTube. But Nike officials eliminated that possibility shortly after the dunk happened by allegedly confiscating tapes from various cameramen.

Freelance photographer Ryan Miller was one of the cameramen shooting the game.

He told that Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt took his tape.

"He just said, 'We have to take your tape,'" Miller said. "They took it from other guys, too."

Worth noting is that there is no policy against filming at the LeBron James Skills Academy, and Miller said he had been filming all day without incident. Nobody ever told him to stop. Nobody ever said there was a problem ... until after Crawford dunked on James.

"LeBron called Lynn over and told him something," Miller said. "That's how I knew his name was Lynn. LeBron said, 'Hey, Lynn. Come here.'"

Minutes later, Miller said Merritt demanded his tape.

"There's nothing I can think of besides LeBron just not wanting it online," Miller said. "It's a good story to tell people, I guess. But then again, I'm kind of pissed. I lost my tape."

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

So what he got dunked on, not the 1st time or last time this will happen to ANYONE that plays basketball.  All you LeBron haters keep writing bad stuff like he or anyone else cares.  If the King says jump Nike will say how high, b/c it all boils down to money.  Your biggest ASSet gets whatever he wants b/c it was HIS camp.

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

Everyone who types a response to this article is doing what Nike wants you to do.  Talk about them.  Can't anyone see what Nike is doing?  This is FREE advertisement for them.  They saw this as a chance to publicize themselves.  That's it.  "Can't see a video of Lebron?  We'll be the biggest buzz on-line tomorrow morning."  That's Nike's angle in this story.  Making money.

Who cares???

Obviously LeBron James cares or he wouldn't have ordered the tapes destroyed.

James has now shown two major flaws in his personality in the last two months. He is a poor sport and his ego is growing larger than Charles Barkley.

I was hoping the Celtics would go after him during free agency next season when Ray Allen is off the books but you know what?

Now, I'm not so sure.

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

Just a thought...what if Nike and LeBron want to use the tape for a commercial? Something showing how ANYONE can achieve if they believe and they want to use this kid's dunk over one of the game's GREATS in that spot?!?! Why let Youtube and Sportscenter ruin what could be a MULTI-MILLION Dollar ad campaign??! Think outside the box, people. What about a commercial showing how hard people go at 'Bron and why he needs to train even harder?!?! The possibilities are endless for using this no-name kid's dunk on Bron to make MILLIONS!!!

Lebron James! You just got served...... And for nike not want there guy to be embarassed it, it must of been pretty bad Nike is a bunch of punk's for not allowing the tapes to be aired. Hey what happen to freedom of press? Was this camp paid for by Nike, did you sign waivers saying they may take your tapes? If not then why would anyone hand them over. If you ask me Nike just took a big pay check from all of you's that had a tape. Look at the possibilities.

1-$25.00 to go to the camp.

2- $15.00 to watch the games

3-$10.00 for video tape

4- Lebron James gettin dunked on. Priceless!!!!!!!!

I wonder what brand shoes Jordan Crawford was wearing and if that made any diffence as to why Nike took all the tapes ? I mean if the guy was wearing Addais or Reabok that would look really bad.

According to the story LeBron was the one that wanted the tapes taken away.

Also just wondering if anyone had a camera phone at the camp that Nike was not aware of. Who knows it just might end up on You Tube some day.

Nike does not want you to see that dunk

How many nights has LeBron posterized someone and was seen after running down on the court making a gorilla face and screaming like a monkey? But the minute someone does it to him, not just someone, but a college kid, he confiscates all the tapes so that no one can see it. Not only is he showing that his ego is out of control, he's suppressing any credit Jordan Crawford would receive b/c he's insecure about his image and ego. It's a shame that he can dunk and embarass so many other professionals on a nightly basis, but when someone does it to him, he refuses to allow himself to be embarassed. He just continues to prove the amount of class he lacks. When everything was going well for the Cavs last year and he won the MVP, he was more than willing to answer media questions and stand beside his teammates. Then he loses against the , and he walks off without shaking hands, doesn't speak to the media, and leaves his friends/teammates to do all the explaining and take the heat for the loss. is far from a class act and no matter how much the media tries to install him as this classy, team player who is the future of the NBA, he's an ego driven maniac who only cares about himself. He speaks in the 3rd person. He made fun of Stephon Marbury for providing low cost sneakers to underpriveleged kids, he wears shirts that say "I'm the MVP" and "Check My Stats." He talks about "spoiling" us with 50 point games.

And for those of you saying that it was against policy to videotape after hours? Why didn't they tell the video crews to stop filming PRIOR to the pick up game? Why did they wait until after LeBron spoke to Nike Director Lynn Merritt and then confiscate the tapes? Everything Nike is saying is just damage control and cover up for LeBron. I lost all respect for LeBron James as a basketball player after this.
