Former Memphis star Chris Douglas-Roberts has addressed the news that his 2008 Final Four will be vacated.

Naturally, he did so on Twitter.

They took our Final 4 but they can't take the memories. Can't take away that lefty d..nah I'm playing. K Love is my guy!

That "lefty d" is the left-handed dunk Douglas-Roberts put on UCLA's Kevin Love in the national semifinals.

Officially, it no longer exists.

Actually, I would have preferred that they allowed us to keep the wins and take away the memories.  I was in the Alamodome...watching the team and the coach completely collapse both physically and mentally.  That is a memory I have been trying to get rid of for some time.  Can the NCAA take that away...please?

Sorry CDR, I love you man, but you don't get to talk smack when you can't hit your free throws down the stretch.

Memphis is happy to have the stench and stain of the Calipari era continue to be scrubbed from our school and from our city.  Having Calipari and Willie Herrenton voluntarily leave positions of influence and power in the same year is almost too good to be true.  Hopefully neither of them tries to make a comeback in Memphis any time soon.

Josh Pastner is our new king.  Hopefully he can bring both integrity and wins to the program.

Go Tigers Go!
