The bank-robbing prospect is at Utah State

A few things happened while I was on vacation last week.

Rick Pitino held a strange news conference.

I'm sure you heard about that.

Billy Gillispie was charged with DUI.

I know you heard about that.

But something you might not have heard is that Anthony Diloreto enrolled at Utah State. If that name rings a bell, it's probably because you remember him from my July column . Yep, he was the prospect involved in the bank robbery. And now he's an Aggie.

"Anthony had no history of negative actions, and he comes from a wonderful family that is very supportive," Utah State's Stew Morrill said while announcing/defending the decision to bring Diloreto to campus. "He deserves this opportunity, and I am grateful to our administration for the trust they have in allowing us to recruit Anthony to Utah State."
