Former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie has entered a rehab facility in Texas, according to WYMT.

The station is reporting that Gillispie is at the John Lucas After Care Program in Houston. He was arrested and charged with DUI in Kentucky less than two weeks ago. It marked the third time Gillispie has been cited for a drinking-and-driving-related incident.

Gillispie is from Texas.

Kentucky fired him after two seasons.

He was replaced in April by John Calipari.

Billy wasn't intelligent enough to be the head coach of an elite basketball program.  Sorry, but he wasn't.

He was on top?  His name was up there in the coaching ranks?  He was an in-demand guy?  Was that all because of Texas A&M and El Paso?  Or because he coached at Kentucky?

You answered your own question.

You, my friend, are the moron.

I hope Coach Gillispie can get the help he needs and gets back to doing something he loves and that's coach basketball.
