Cal yelled something at somebody. You decide.

Cameras have caught John Calipari yelling all sorts of things over the years, most notably when he called former Memphis player Earl Barron a female's body part, clear as day, on national television. In fairness, Calipari had a point about Barron. But not everybody thinks the Kentucky coach's sideline antics are nearly as entertaining as I do, which is why several angry readers have emailed a clip from Saturday's Kentucky-Louisville game that appears to show Calipari yelling at Louisville's Reginald Delk (though it could be of Calipari yelling at a ref).

In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not a licensed lip-reader.

So I could have this all wrong.

But Calipari appears to tell Delk that Bledsoe will "kick your ass after the game's over" and that Delk is messing with the "wrong guy." Or at least that's what I thought the first 20 times I watched it. But a reader pointed out that it's possible Calipari is yelling at the ref that Delk told Bledsoe "I'm going to kick your ass after the game's over" in an attempt to show the ref that he called the foul on the "wrong guy."

Honestly, I don't know.

But it's a good video, either way.

Click this link to check it out.

Then tell me what you think.

It goes down around the 17-second mark.

RENTRNY, YOU ARE THE BIGGEST DAMN LIAR! I've never had any encounter with you and how in the world is Cal a racist? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN HIS KENTUCKY AND MEMPHIS TEAMS? THEY ARE ALMOST ALL BLACK.

Kentucky haters have to be the biggest idiots.

It is plain as day that Calipari wasn't talking to a ref like a mature adult explaining the situation.  He got caught showing an extremely low amount of class.  Talking trash like that to college kids is a joke.  Wow!  Kentucky is a very talented team and they will be good as long as Wall is there but that was hard to watch.  Especially seeing the coach leads these young men by showing this behavior.  Cousins elbows a kids just minutes after this.  Who can blame him after seeing how the coach reacts to the other team (Louisville).

Another thing, the title of Parrish's blog says it all - it accuratley communicates the level of certainty that Parrish possesses concerning precisely what was said and to whom it was said.  This reminds me of the bullshit I see in tabloids while waiting in the check out line at the supermarket.

I've yet to see verifiable, concrete evidence of what Calipari said, much less to whom he was speaking.  As for Parrish's interpretation, the number of syllables attributed to Calipari do not match the video.  Honestly, has it come to lip reading by those who can nary utter a polysyllabic word?

Exactly, Parrish is an idiot here.

Calipari yelled at either the ref, or was yelling at bledso that he was going to "take his arse out of the game"

He would say he's going to fight delk, when delk's uncle Tony is on the UK staff a few chairs down on the bench.

RETARDS

You know it's time to come up with something new.  This losing victories is getting old.  He has coach how many yrs and only two players did wrong.  Remember these are high-profile kids that are getting in trouble.  That's because in High School they are treated like God's.  The bottomline is Coach Calipari has yet to get in trouble for any of this.  That is fact and nobody can deny that.  If we get in trouble for this it will be the adminstration's problem.  I don't worry about a coach watching over these guys like a hawk.  They do have families of their own.  Maybe, just one day we will hold the High School of the party involved accountable and not the later parties.  Do you know that the NCAA Clearinghouse gave Memphis the papers for Rose to play.  Also Calipari informed UK about Rose before they signed the contract.  People need to get a grip, I for one wanted Coach Calipari right after I heard Tubby was gone.  Now he is here and I'm loving it and our rivals are mad, not to mention Pitino.  He wanted us to get Pelphery or Ford. LOL He knew those guys wouldn't bring in the top recruits.  Now they are all pissed. Laughing So until all this happens (like you can see the future) shut-up!!!!  If history repeats itself, than we will win more championships and maybe one taken back. LOL!!!  I'll take it!!!

I've watched alot of b-ball games and never have I've seen the trash talking that the louisville players brought.  They were after us from the start, and never let up.  Louisville and their fans got what they wanted, a young team mad and they still beat them.  Look you had a 1 point lead for 20 seconds, Kentucky manhandled your team and now you can't handle it.  Next year we won't have to worry about it, the thugs that started this Smith, Delk will be gone.  Our main three will be gone, but we'll reload.  Louisville fans are babies and just won't let it go.  Why even try to do this, OH Mommy and Daddy there's this boy at school saying he is going to beat me up.   Cry

Who gives a crap what happened before the game and during the national anthem.  Im not one to say what was said and what wasn't, butIf Calipari said this, then yes it needs to be addressed.  A coach can not physically threaten and oposing player...What planet are you from.

By the way Eric Crawford with the CJ did ask Calimari about this and he cleary does not deny it becasue the "game was so emotional"!

The key image in that video is at 0:18 right before they cut to Cal yelling.  This was the position of the players and ref.  If you hold your cursor at that 0:18 time mark you can see his face starting to fade in.  Hold it there.  You judge who he's yelling at.

And anyway, who cares.  Does this really matter?
