North Carolina's Zeller sidelined (again)

North Carolina's Roy Williams announced Tyler Zeller will miss four to six weeks with a stress fracture in his right foot.

"He's frustrated," Williams said at a Friday press conference.

Zeller is a sophomore who missed much of last season with a broken wrist. The 7-foot sophomore is averaging 9.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game this season. He's scored at least 12 points in six different games.

North Carolina plays Georgia Tech on Saturday.

The 12th-ranked Tar Heels are 12-5.

North Carolina's Zeller sidelined (again)

Bledsoe not a top 100 recruit?  Are you kidding me?  He was a top 25 recruit on every major recruiting site except espn.  Don't know what they were thinking.

First of all, this UNC team should not be running.I think I expected to much from these freshman
and it's hard to believe Henson was ranked as high as he was outta high school with like a
top 5 ranking on most recruiting sites. That Bledsoe kid for Kentucky wasn't even ranked
in the ESPN Top 100 and he scored like 25 points the other night.I'm not bragging, but I
believe I could spot talent better than that.Strickland is the only player I've been impressed
with and he's a shooting guard,not a point.Come on Roy,What are you doing?Recruit some
players.

When Roy took the starting 5 out that one time and had all the freshman on the court. They actually looked pretty well. To me the starting five has looked like they don't care, and that they don't want to focus. At this point Roy should put the players out there who WANT to play instead of who should play. I mean lets go down the stat sheet from the other night.....

Thompson-5 turnovers
Ginyard-5 turnovers
Drew II-5 turnovers

So 15 of the 26 turnovers come from guys who should not be making these kinds of plays. I have never thought Deon was good, he just can hit a fade away which alot of players can do, but as a big man he is weak. All of UNC's big men are weak, however the player I have the biggest beef with is Graves. He is terrible. For example, UNC against Clemson had 3 key runs in the second half to where they cut the score to 11, 11, and 12. During these runs UNC was making good passes, getting in the lane shots, hitting short jumpers, and then as soon as they get to being down this much Graves (everytime!) comes down and throws up threes. 2-9 from 3pt land. One of those runs he shot 3 threes in a row! Bricked everyone of them! Now tell me why in the world would you think stupidly when all your runs have been 2s and good shots. UNC already sucks from the three line. Roy should tell them NO threes ever. We are much much better without those shots. At this point, McDonald and Strickland should start. Also at the beginning of the year I would have told the Wear twins to find somewhere else to play, but the past 5 games or so, they have shown they can be good. It is weird because David will do pretty good one game, like he is getting better, and then Travis will do good, and it flip-flops. Oh well, lets get ready to get whooped by GT lol.

Seriously, the Wear brothers look more able to transition to college ball then Henson has.  He just looks lost and confused on the court.

"he needed the time on the court to replace Thompson next season"

Thompson's stats on paper look a lot better than he does on the court.   I don't think he'll be that hard to replace.

I've said it elsewhere on the message boards, and I'll say it again - now is the time for Henson to step up and prove his ranking coming out of high school!

Poor guy can't catch a break. In such a semi-down rebuilding year, he needed the time on the court to replace Thompson next season.
